Fun little thing to do with actually a nice souroundings. Of course you will just get what you already expect: a big fish but nice flours, water feature easy to park. Expectation exceeded and definitely something which made us eat / stop in the city.
Not too much to see here but it is a good spot to get out and stretch the body out. Could make some good sunset pictures here as the background is incredible. Small parking area and small park too.
Another fun novelty of travelling in Canada and seeing the sights. There's a parking spot right across from the muskie and then you walk over a short distance under a bridge to get here. Nice spot with good views.
Such a beautiful road trip from Winnipeg, this is a great spot to stop for a nice view and walk
It was a nice little stop with a view across the water, but the muskie itself was under construction/repair, so it didnt really make for good pictures :PVisited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
Great a little stop on the way into/out of or while staying in Kenora. We arrived there on Friday and there was a Food festival where you could buy fresh fruit and vegetables from local farms.
Iconic statue overlooking Lake of the Woods city of Kenora. It is on the shoreline of Safety Bay, within McLeod Park. The park is beautiful, there are great views of the Bay, skyline of the city and the Goodwill Geyser, another iconic sight. Every hour on the hr., the geyser erupts some 209ft/75m. Free parking and easy access from the Trans-Canada Hwy.
The statue of Husky is surrounded by a well tended little park. There is also a viewing area where you can get a good view of the waterfront and pavilion.
Nice park by the lake, good place to take photos. Flowers and rocks are very beautiful. It's a family place. There is a bride and groom taking their photo session while we are visiting the park.
It's a big fish statue. But everything surrounding it is nice. In canada we like our giant animal statues.
