A little heavy on pricing but the Dr. there is very compassionate. A friend's cat needed surgery, after the vet seen the kitty he immediately went to work instead of making him wait. expensive or not, the vet has a good heart. The clinic friends roaming around were sweet and very well behaved and helped pass the time while I waited.
Looking For A New Doctor, Please If You Love Your Pets Like I Do, Don't Go. I Trusted This Man And His Staff, And It Cost Me Everything. My Cat Should Not Have Died, And He Should Not Have Died The Way He Did. That Is My Fault, And I Have Been Living With It Everyday Since Jan, 24,22. The Last Picture I Have Of My Cat, In My Head, Is Finding Him Dead In A Old Chicken Freezer, That had Been Converted Into A Kennel. 3 Concrete Walls And A Shower Door That You Could Not Even See Though, That Replaced The Freeze Door, He Died On A Sheet On A Cold Tile Floor, With A Little Bit Of Food And Water, And Most Of All, He Did Not Even Have A Litter Box To Go To The Washroom In. That Is What I See Every Day And Every Time I Think Of Him, And It Is Not Easy. My Cat Got Sick And I Took Him In And Found Out He Was Constipated, They Told Me The Best Thing For Him Was To Leave Him With Them, And They Would Help Him. That Turned Out To Be The Biggest Mistake I Made In My Life And One That Will Remain With Me For The Rest Of My Life. My Cat Did Not Die From Constipation And I Will Never Know, What Happen. What I Did Find Out In My Research After The Death Of Our Care Bear Was, Unnecessary Testing And Treatments They Don't Not Care About You Or Your Pet , All They Care About Is What Is In Your Pocket, And They Will Say Or Do Anything To Get It. If Care Bears Death And Me Writing This Can Safe One Persons Pet, Then It Has Done What I Wanted It To Do. Dr. Surinder Khahra 3020 Dougall Ave Charged And Found Guilty And Disciplined For Professional Misconduct 4 Counts. Lic. Suspended For A Period Of Time And 20,000 in Penalties Didn't Appeal I Guess He Thought By Opening This Hospital On Huron Line He Could Hide. I Wish That I Knew Soon, But I Do Know Now And So Do YOU, If You Read This. When I went in a few months ago, it was very dirty. Dirty hand prints on doors, blood spatters on posters, unclean floors. The exam table was covered in hair from the previous client, so they definitely didn't clean up or sanitize. The vet was afraid of my extremely complacent and mild cat, and it came to a point that I stepped in because they were handling her incorrectly, which was alarming to say the least, as someone in the pet industry. They tried to offer me a grooming position on the spot, when a few years prior I had applied and was told groomers are horrible people who just abused dogs and that he would never leave a dog alone with a groomer. The vet was also making jokes about how hungover he was. I found this practice to be incompetent in their handling, unsanitary, with a complete disregard for cross contamination between clients, and unprofessional in conduct.
I just moved here in Windsor and went to that vet hospital to get blood work on my 14 years old dog and he didn't take enough blood to get the correct results he was more interested in expressing my dog anagland when I told him he doesn't need his gland done he tried anyway and nothing came out but the size of a pea. Being a certified master groomer and dog handler/ breeder for 30 years I know quite a bit about dogs. I was devastated with the result of the blood work liver and charged me over $600.+ so I took him to another vet and his blood work results where very good. DON'T GO TO THAT VET HE NEEDS TO RETIRE
I’m a ragdoll and British longhair breeder and I used to go to ambassador animal hospital. But they are fully booked recently, so I come to this vet for kittens’ first shot. The price for first shot here is unreasonably high. It usually costs me less than 300 for the first shot for a litter size of 6. This vet give me a bill total charge of 700+, I declined some of the tests and treatment which is totally unnecessary, but they told me one of the test is already done without my permission. I know clearly there no fleas and ear mites on kitten. It’s obvious to tell because they have a clean body and clean ear without any flea dirt and dirty ear. Don’t know why this vet still need microscope to test and even done without my permission. I would never come again. I told my story with my friend. She told me her cat was ill two years ago. She spend 3000+ in this vet doing all kind of test and treatment. This vet don’t even find what’s wrong with her cat. Later she transfer to another vet and her cat totally recovered after one period of treatment. I really should know earlier:
This vet is by far the worst vet I have ever been to!!!! He told me my dogs have tape worm and I didn't believe him, something just didn't seem right. So I got a second opinion! And guess what? No worms!!!! He is a lier, he is not an honest man and should have his license taken away!!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!
