I was just in there and was told a 15 minute wait but ended up waiting 40 minutes while the 1 manager talked to other employees about the weather and such. It finally hit noon and we just left. Much faster to go to North Court Street. They are friendly but get you in and out immediately.

Never had a single problem with first merit in the years I've been with them. I've driven truck all over the country and have never had any issues using my debit card since day one. also, I've never called ahead to say I was gonna be out of state.

First Merit is ok, until you have to deal with their customer service on the phone. THEY ARE HORRIBLE! If you like to use your debit card to travel, beware. You call them in advance as to the states your visiting, and they record them , but it does no good. I have had my card blocked no less than 10 times in the last year while traveling. I have been blocked at Inns, restaurants, gas stations, professional sporting events. The list goes on. When you call their customers service, you get the suspected fraud reply. Really? They also tell you they have no record of you reporting your travel plans. On a recent vacation, I called twice, but they have no record??? This is hassle, not only that I have to call and put a delay on my travel, but also the embarrassment of having your card declined at a vendor. This is no way to treat a 20 year bank customer. Their so called security people have no clue. Bring on PNC.
