Huntington Bank

My husband and I have been banking with Huntington for a couple years now, and every time we stop in I am impressed with the customer service! Everyone is always very kind!

Was stranded without my wallet or any money. I just needed 5-10 bucks for gas and was under the impression I could do security questions to verify myself to get in my account because I've done that before. I guess they got rid of that option. Said I would have to do it through phone number. She tells me my old phone number that was listed as my cell. If I can't a can't confirm a text through that then there's nothing she could do. I logged into my account right in front of her, told her I could verify The account number, my card number, my card pin and i have a photo of my id. Said I could switch the phone number on the account to mine but then it would take 30 days to register before I could withdraw with it. But then I go into my account information and the number she read me was under cell but my current number was under home. I don't know how she couldn't see that there was two numbers on the account but Im so glad i checked and was able to get my hard-earned money. HOW is that safer than security questions????? Someone could steal my phone, say theyre me and steal all of my money because they can confirm a text. Use you're heads, how is that better. I would have been on the street panhandling for gas money because I have two phone numbers listed on my account?? Even got some passive attitude from the teller but nothing directly. Which I get it. It's frustrating somebody won't leave your counter but I had a gut feeling there was something fishy about what she was telling me. Please fix this for future people potentially in a bind like me.I would have lost my job if I couldn't get gas money.

Had some complications with my bank card, however, the representative, Ashley Miler, was very kind and friendly toward me and helped me fix my issue. It is very much appreciated, I highly recommend her services ! Jose Martinez the financial Relationship Banker was also very professional explaining my account issues I was having. Glad I chose to go through Huntington Bank as my bank choice.

I don't have much good experiences with banks but yesterday I was completely blown away, I had a rather sizable check that initially probably had to be held for a week or two. I PERSONALLY want to thank Storm, Gio, and last but certainly not least Mrs. Theresa Reed, talk about an individual that can get thing done. I was having such a tough time getting anyone to cash it. I sincerely want to thank and virtual hug each and everyone of you. Even when it seems like there is nobody willing to help in a time of need or complete despair; God places that special person into your life that for certain help you out. My husband and I have had Huntington bank for years. We love the people that worked at Paulding branch before they closed it. Since they closed Paulding we have did most of our banking online but have had to go into a branch a few times most of those times the tellers have had bad attitudes in the past 2 months at the defiance branch. Today was my last time putting up with disrespect from defiance branch. I'm moving to a bank that cares. Until I have my accounts moved I'll drive to Bryan to bank with people that respect others.
