Story

AThe Hungry Peddler first opened its doors in December of 1976. The Building itself was built about 1911 and was the second on this site.The original building was a wooden structure called Boulevard Hall which was a tavern and dance hall.It burned down in about 1910 at which time the Miller family built this building and operated Miller's Tavern here for many years.

We invite you to try our German recipe house beer "Peddler Brau" made for us by our friends at Capital Brewery in Middleton, Wisconsin.

We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner with leisure dining and a casual atmosphere along with a full bar and many drink specials.

If you are looking for some awesome food with an old-school diner atmosphere, this is the place to go! It has been opened for decades and has a ton of history. Excellent menu options and very cool staff. If you are in the La Crosse area, it is certainly worth a visit.

Love everything about this place ‍‍

Love, love, love this restaurant for breakfast. It is my go-to spot for family and friends. They have biscuits and gravy and pancakes and hash browns and coffee. Great atmosphere, great food, and great people!

Great place to eat and talk with some loved ones. Good food at good prices. Love the decore.

This place is absolutely amazing! Fantastic food, very clean & BEYOND EXCELLENT service!!! My favorite part of my Mom & I eating their was our amazing Waitress oh my gosh she's perfect!!! Please go there & I'm hoping everyone has a wonderful experience as we did!!!

Good place for breakfast.  Tables were distanced well.  I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

Loaded potatos amazing. Bacon wrapped tenderloins very chewy and tough.
