Ordered a large 3 topping yesterday. The crust was delicious as usual, extra sauce and normal cheese was great but the toppings were lacking! They must be getting their toppings from somewhere new. The ground beef looked like miniature meatballs with no flavor, the bacon was big pieces instead of smaller bacon bits no complaints though, bacon in any form yum and the green olive slices were bigger. I've always liked hungry howies and will order again but ramp up the toppings a little!
They are always pleasant and the food yummy. Especially the Howie cookie! It's the best tasting chocolate chip cookie ever! It's still hot when it arrives so it's gooey. Don't forget to have napkins around lol.
Little by little the quality of their product is falling. It used to be an admirable pizza with a thick, bubbly order crust and thinner center adorned with a good amount of toppings. Sadly it's become a hack job either rushed or people by care-less people. The last pizza I got, a pepperoni and mushroom with sesame seed crust, was a flat, doughy, bread-like disk with little sauce and carelessly put together. Instead of a seed crust I got seeds spread across the pizza covering the pepperoni. I requested the pizza to be well done and it wasn't resulting in a soggy bottomed Floppy mess. What they've succeeded in doing is creating a dominoes tasteless thing. Very disappointed and likely not to return.
I love hungry Howie. It sucks that the pumpkin bread just tasted like cinnamon bread. was there something you were supposed to put on it to taste like pumpkin but you forgot?

Took cashier a bit to notice I was there, but friendly once they did and had my order ready minus the pop I had to navigate out of the fridge myself on top of the rest of my order. Thankfully there was a nice lady at the door coming in to pick up her order to help me out. Parking: Not a lot of parking but multiple entrances and exits.

Went to pick up pizza and no one came to open the door. My kids were disappointed that they couldn't get their pizza. Really rude to lock the door when you know someone is on the way to pick it up. So called and they said it was ready but they would cancel the order. How in the hell am I supposed to pick it up if I m not allowed in the door. Screw this place we wont be returning

We have been trying to find a local place to fulfill our pizza needs in Lapeer. We’ve tried quite a few places - and they weren’t bad. However, as a family, the only place we can agree on for the most delicious pizza and salads is Hungry Howies! We’ve never had a problem with this location and our food is always wonderful!
