Hungry Heart Cafe

Really fantastic cafe. Came here for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was delicious without feeling too heavy or over-seasoned, and there was a good mix of traditional fare as well as more contemporary/creative options. Ambience was cozy but not cramped and space was well-lit. Service was friendly and very quick.

Contientious service, delicious, filling food and safe distancing

My mom and I really enjoyed our experience. We ate a delicious seasonal meal and finished with some yummy desserts. Glad to have found a place that serves great food and also does good work in the community.

Short menu, short wine list and the very freshest ingredients at the Hungry Heart Cafe! Plus, the restaurant has a mission to train people who have barriers to employment. A feel good experience, all way 'round!

Real nice food and staff

As a St. John's local this is one of my favourite spots to brunch/lunch. Their menu is always evolving, fresh and most importantly delicious. Every time I have gone I have left feeling satisfied and happy. They really do feed your heart.

Unassuming little cafe with a surprisingly robust menu and friendly service. Some of the best smoked salmon I've had in recent memory! My go to for breakfast in the area
