Had the biscuit sandwich. Next time I’ll try a different menu item, it was delicious and filling but the biscuit part was a bit inconvenient to fit in my mouth! The egg part of the sandwich was made just the way I like it, cooked whites and runny yolk. I got it with a sausage patty. Stopped by this food truck/trailer on the way out of Gold Beach. What a great place! It’s real good and made fresh. Our food was hot and delicious. I got the waffle sandwich pictured and my husband got the breakfast burrito. They were really good! Hunger Paynes appears to serve breakfast and lunch. The two ladies working were very friendly. We would definitely return!
Went to Hunger Paynes for lunch today. The people inside seemed nice and cordial, and I ordered a grilled sandwich from the menu. It was ready without much of a wait at all! The sandwich was pretty good, a little greasy but tasty anyway. I didn't notice until I was almost through with the sandwich that the sandwich had melted the styrofoam box it was served in....to late to take it back, and I figured they must have already known about the styrofoam box problem; I'm sure I wasn't the first person to have a grilled sandwich delivered in a styrofoam box there. What a shame. I attached a picture of the inside of the styrofoam box with an arrow showing where the sandwich had actually melted through and left a hole. You can also see an impression from where the sandwich was in the box. Beware.....
I had the biscuit sandwich with sausage, it was delicious! My hubby had the smothered biscuit sandwich with bacon, and it’s hard to say which was better. Try it all! But come early if you can or there may not be much left.
Burgers were juicy and fries were crispy and fresh. Prawns had a juiciness that normally is absent when deep fried. These along with the dill and cocktail sauces were incredible. Pastrami Reuben was perfect. Simply put. That's about half the lunch menu, so pretty safe to assume the other half is phenomenal as well. Deb's service and food should make every local visit weekly, and every passer through to plan it on their travels. I already look forward to returning in the summer!!
Love eating on this little food truck. So tasty and consistently delicious. I love the hamburgers. Husband got the garbage grinder and said it was really good. We also enjoy the breakfast burritos. She made me a really yummy breakfast with no bread or tortilla because I’m GF sooo good.
The praline bottomed bran muffin is so amazing that I still think about it and really want the recipe. I stopped here as part of a 1700 mile bicycle trek and boy did the breakfast here hit the spot. Excellent food, great service, friendly people.Curbside pickup: Yes
We got the croissant sandwiches and a breakfast burrito. It was delicious! The ladies who worked there were super sweet! Definitely recommend!
You can't beat the price for a burger and fries. Very friendly owner. Delicious burger!
The best of the best! Out of every burger place I’ve tried Hunger Paynes is #1 in my book. Juiciest and most delicious burgers. Deb is the sweetest too!
