Humber Bay Physio feels like second home to me. I have never seen a clinic where they cared so much about your problem and its underlying causes. Each of them is an expert and empathic with you. Darya and her team are exceptional! You are in great hands and best care if you get the chance to visit them! Treatments of very high quality at very reasonable rates. My physiotherapy, acupuncture, and massage therapy were very helpful. I wish them the best in the future! Keep up the good work, guys! Thanks a lot!
My husband and I have been coming here for over 2 years now. Every practitioner that we have and worked with has been professional, kind, caring and effective. The services are consistent and I can't stop coming back. I am grateful for everyone at humber bay physio -- highly recommend!
Saw Lola for a massage. The massage was fine but everything else was not. First got there and was told the payment machine was not working so I would be called at a later date to pay. Ok no problem. Explained I need a receipt for insurance. After the massage I'm then led to believe the machine is fine and asked to pay? Not only that but she adds a prompt to tip with no mention of it? I've never once had a massage where I was asked to tip. It's clear she wanted me to pay right then and not over the phone to milk a tip out of me. Was also told I need to see a chiropractor at their place, as well as 2 more minimum massage appointments with them. Also told that a 45min appt is too short and I need to book a minimum 1 hour only. Why do you offer 45min then? Just trying to get me to pay more it seems. I tap and pay and of course no receipt prints. I'm told someone will call me "eventually not sure when" to give me an invoice? I already paid in full? My name is just written down on a sticky note with "visa" beside it. Not sure what that is supposed to do. Found it very strange there was no use of the computer to complete the appointment and email a receipt as that's standard practice but at this point it's clear I just need to come back when someone else is in. No one calls me as expected and I come in the next day to explain. The front desk thinks I'm there to pay as she never marked me down as paid or completed for my appointment or told anyone I paid. Luckily the receptionist was understanding and very helpful and emailed me my receipt. Seems like its a common issue. Seems like a decent place, maybe just don't let people who have no clue what they're doing around a computer accept payment.
This place is super convenient for me and I tried liking it...But I just can't. I've been closing my eyes on so many things, but just had the last drop, so I have to share. First I visited this place to get custom orthotics. I received them...and they came apart after a few weeks. The clinic sent them back for repairs. I waited for over a month and got no updates. I finally called them myself only to realize that they were sitting in their office for a few weeks already. And they just forgot to call me. Also, picking them up required another paid appointment. Which consisted of me just picking them up. Then I came in for a few massages. The ones with Dalia were pretty good. I warned her that I'm sensitive, so she checked in with me a lot and only increased the pressure gradually. I also went in for a physio appointment hoping to get some useful tips and exercises. I was shown a few stretches that I already knew and have been doing and that are available online for free. Then I booked another massage with Lola Dalia wasn't available. This was the last drop. I come in, the door is locked. Eventually, Lola opens the door for me, asks me to wait, saying she's behind. I ask the person at the reception to update my insurance information. She doesn't understand what I'm asking for the longest time doesn't seem that complicated to me. She says there's no receptionist right now, so she can't help me. But I need it updated to submit a claim for this treatment, right? She finally does it. Then I walk into a massage room which clearly hasn't been cleaned after the previous patient there's hair on the sheets, the blankets aren't tucked in. I probably should've left at that point. Then Lola gives me the most painful massage of my life. She keeps telling me to relax, says that I'm too tense and I'm not letting her do her job. She tells me I have so many issues and I need to see a chiropractor and a physiotherapist immediately the one who showed me basic neck stretches from Google. I hesitantly agree. I then talked to a few people who said I definitely don't need any of that. Before I leave, I'm told that nobody can submit my claim right now, so I need to pay upfront. And then next week someone will get to it. No updates on that yet. After the massage, I've been in pain for a week now. I should've never come. I was looking for a relaxing massage and got an hour of tension and stress. I kept telling myself that it's good for me and I need it...But I really don't think so anymore.
When I phoned the first time to ask about Humber Bay Physio, I was welcomed by Terry who assured me that I would have an appointment as soon as I needed one. When I arrived for my first appointment with Halak Patel I was greeted by Terry and was made to feel very comfortable. My appointments with Halak since that first time have been great, and she is helping me get my mobility back!! Thanks everyone!
The staff is friendly and each professional is extremely knowledgeable in their practice. I’ve been there for massage, acupuncture and physiotherapy. Been coming here for approximately 5 years and highly recommend this location.
Very friendly staff from front office to all the doctors. They were always able to get in me even if it was last minute. I would definitely recommend there RMT Therapist, Nadir to anyone who is struggling with tension and tight knots. He does a very professional and an effective job at getting those knots open and gone for good! He also recommends some great stretches which has helped me alot. As a Personal Trainer, I come with a very sore yet tight muscles and the techniques that Nadir uses has been very effective for me. Definitely a 5 star for the clinic as well as for Nadir.
Melissa at Humber Bay Physio has been amazingly helpful at relieving my pain. And the at-home exercises she recommended are working well, too. And Terry, at the front desk, also imparted some invaluable advice re helping me sleep despite my pain.
All of the practitioners I've seen at Humber Bay Physio have been amazing. They are well educated in their practice and they go above and beyond to make you feel well cared for. I always walk out feeling so much better. Highly recommend!
Very friendly staff from front office to the doctor who I had my first free consultation with. Dr. George C. was knowledgeable and congenial. He is a chiropractor but recommended a RMT for my situation. Really appreciate him advising what's best for me.
