I'm super happy going here. I like the location and all the people in the center are great to work with. Steve has been super patient with my questions and concerns along the way. Their availability to see me seems to match well with when I can fit PT into my busy life. I highly recommend them.

I recently needed physical therapy post surgery after an injury and unlike a lot of bigger clinics, Hulst Jepsen was very accommodating to my schedule and able to get me in right away. They pride themselves on being able to provide more one on one attention to patients due to their smaller clinic size. The therapists and staff at the EGR location are great - very friendly, welcoming and show interest in you as a person not just a patient. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for top notch care as well as a great customer experience.

After a savage rotator cuff injury and repair, I began rehab with Steve. Had I not consulted with him I am sure that I would have done serious damage attempting rehab on my own. Steve directed me in a program that has proven quite successful. He evaluated me weekly and kept me informed as to my physical progress, educating me on my current physical condition. Thanks Steve, now swimming a mile in 31 minutes.

Let me start by saying that walking in I was always warmly welcomed by the staff. Most of the time it was one of the PT assistances. They always greeted me with a smile and by name (well, after the first visit). They got me pepped, warmed up and ready for the therapy and were a lot of fun to talk with. Very engaging. I worked primarily with Steve, and once with Tamara, on an ankle injury. They were both always very professional and quite helpful. Steve was very good at answering my various questions, and also very engaging himself. He kept conversation going to help keep the time moving, and really seemed interested in me as a person, not just a patient. The therapy itself was sufficiently challenging to work up a sweat on a daily basis, but never too much to risk re-injury. By the end of my time at Hulst Jepson of East Grand Rapids I felt fairly close to 100%, and they left me with some good exercises to continue at home. Steve also sent me away with some elastic bands to further challenge myself as I get stronger. Lastly, I'd also like to note that my insurance provider pushed to have me end early, and this happened rather abruptly. I was getting much stronger, and was feeling close to ready to end; however, Steve and I both believed at least one more session to wrap everything up, push the challenge a little harder, and leave me with some extra exercises would be a good idea. Fearing this would cost me out-of-pocket more than I could afford, I was reluctant; however, Steve worked with me on a payment structure that allowed me to end this already wonderful experience on a truly positive and professional note. I wouldn't recommend Steve and Tamara based on this last little bit at all, rather I recommend them highly based on the overall experience. Which, based on two other stints in PT, is a superb experience overall. I'm confident that anyone facing a road to recovery after a physical injury can find healing with Steve and Tamara at Hulst Jepson of East Grand Rapids!
