If Diners and Drive Ins, rock and roll, and shakes are your thing, this is a great little stop! Fun decor with good music and friendly staff. The sunrise burger was exceptional and the fries are "the good kind." The perch was seasoned well and not greasy and the Nacho appetizer was more than enough for dinner. Classic comfort foods done well!
My wife and I decided to get the pretzel with cheese for an appetizer and it came with TWO hot and HUGE pretzels with delicious cheese, great value for $9! It came out fast too! We both went with the classic burger and fries and it was beyond perfect, fries were crunchy, burger was amazing. The portion sizes are well worth your money. The only thing I wish was the burger sauce wasn’t just thousand island. It was 9/10 for us!
Although our server was very good, the food left alot to be desired. I ordered the Orange Chicken. It came with roughly 7 pieces of orange chicken which tasted like it came out of a box and popped into the microwave, plain white rice not a drop of sauce and it had probably a 1/2 cup of broccoli arranged around the edge of the plate. Very, very disappointed. Two of us ordered lunch...the bill was like $45. Won't be dining there any time soon. Sorry.
We had a great dinner on the patio on our drive from northern Minnesota to Mackinac Island. Stopped at Hudsons because of their pet friendly patio where our furry little guy was served his own bowl of water by our friendly server, Kelly Sue. Bacon cheeseburger was magnificent, white fish bites were superb, as well as the cole slaw, onion rings, fries, & cold beer. Rave reviews from these Texans! Bonus: we’re staying at My Place Hotel & Lorrie Sue called to let them know we will be checking in late, so we can relax & enjoy ourselves. Great customer service! Thank you!!
My husband and I just arrived in Marquette, Michigan for our wedding anniversary. We were staying next door at the Days Inn for 3 of our nights the airbnb was booked the first 3 nights - so we decided to walk next door to check this place out. The hotel recommended this place and we would receive 10% off showing our hotel key. Let's break it down Atmosphere - cute looking bar/grill with a mix of interesting decor Staff - understaffed our server was taking care of almost every table. Service was terrible. My husband asked for a beer large size she brought the small size instead and when he said something she said "I already rang it in". I asked what kind of wine they had and she was going to bring me a list, but then said "can I just tell you - we have red, white.... When we asked for more water, napkins and another beer after 10 minutes she brought water. Price - prices seemed high, but overall prices in Marquette are higher than Indiana. Food - Cheese curds - greasy, tasteless Burger - my husband ordered a bacon cheeseburger, with the sautéed onions and mushrooms that came with it on the side I wanted them. They kept them on the same plate. He also didn't get the bacon and had to wait for it. He said the burger was "just ok". I ordered a burger, without cheese - it was the worst burger I've ever had!! Did not eat it. Fries were cold, so was the burger. Definitely skip this place!!
Not bad food wise. Service is adequate and good unless it's super busy then may have hurt service a bit. I try to avoid the busy times. Food is good and has a good selection to choose from. Known for their drink specials. Very cool trinkets hanging around. Good place to bring the kids as well. Wholesome place Food: 4/5
I had the cod basket. Which was amazing. I ate everything. My wife had a steak and potatoes which she loved. Both kids had chicken tenders go figure but they both enjoyed it. We got dessert and was stuffed. Very convenient our hotel was next door.
Totally forgot to snag pictures of our meal! I had the double stack burger with onion rings. Mushrooms & onions were perfect on the burger ! Wife and kid had the perch with tots and had no complaints. We made a last minute decision to have the milk shakes and that was the perfect way to end the meal . Easily consumed 2000+ calories, but after the polar roll fat tire bike race it was perfect Not to mention I am a car guy, so the inside of this place will entertain you with all the different things they have hanging on the walls. They had sports on Tv and the beer was cold! Not to mention the staff was super friendly. If you’re looking for something different that isn’t a chain, I highly recommend this place.
Awesome service, good food. We had the chicken alfredo dinner, BBQ pulled pork sandwich was a little tangy/spicy, but good, boneless BBQ wings, fried pickles, cheese curds and Mushroom Ravioli Alfredo.Food: 5/5
Service was great, staff is friendly, food was amazing. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It had great flavor, and the fries were the good kind of crunchy. My boyfriend had chicken fajitas and they were also amazing.
