I am SO happy that there is a bagel place in Winnipeg. Their bagel sandwiches are awesome! It's great to order for breakfast or lunch off Skip in a pinch. I ordered it while I was moving into a new apartment. The soups are healthy and satisfying, they have homemade ice tea that has a unique and refreshing flavor without too much sugar, and their bagel sandwiches are so delicious. I've had three different kinds, all very satisfying. If you want a bagel sandwich dairy free though you have to order their vegan option. They put cheese inside folded over egg for their breakfast bagel sandwich which is VERY delicious but you can't ask for it without cheese. So that's something to note. They also do catering apparently and have a bunch of options. And you can buy their bagel seasonings in a jar. I hope they stick around because this can become a great Winnipeg go-to for a lot of people. I hope to dine in there with a coffee when the pandemic ends. They have also wrote Thank you on every bag that was delivered to me in the nicest writing, it's very kind. Thank YOU! Hudson Bagels!
The bagels are really nice. They aren’t stiff or hard to chew yet they have the right consistency of what you would expect from a bagel. These are not the mediocre bagged bagels you will find packaged at the grocery store. Take the time to get down to this store to try them. You won’t regret it. Staff are also very friendly.
Definitely rate this spot a 10/10 based on food & great service. I love sandwiches but I was a little hesitant because bagels are usually thick, hard & dense. This was not the case. I got the rosemary bagel and it was so good and had a great slight crunch to it. It paired so well with The Side Chick’en, it almost reminded me of a thanksgiving dinner into a yummy little bagel. Bagel sandwich was a amazing, the flavours were hitting all the right spots, mushroom soup was great. I also really appreciated how enthusiastic the FOH girl was. Great customer service from her. Friendly, offering recommendations, bringing the food & drinks right to the tables. I worked in the service industry for 12+ years and that is the type of service I love to see.
Hudson Bagels quickly became our favourite Saturday morning breakfast treat. They have the best cream cheese flavours! Nothing beats the “Bacon & Good Chives Only” flavour. The staff members are always welcoming and kind. We recommend Hudson Bagels to everyone!
A great bagel place in Winnipeg! Their sandwiches were fantastic, and their bagels to take home were great. They will occasionally sell out of certain flavours though, and I would recommend eating them within the first day or two while they're as fresh as possible.
The bagel sandwiches are delicious! More specifically the Social Club. Lots of meat and the flavours all went together perfectly, next time I'd get extra spread. If you like pickles you'll love their dill pickle cream cheese... it is to die for!! I also love that they use local ingredients. The bagel itself was perfect. I love how loaded with seeds the All Dressed is. I'm excited to come back and try some of the other sandwiches/bagels/spreads. Customer service is super friendly and food is ready fast. The only downside is trying to find parking but the food is worth a bit of a walk!
So great! The Sea Salt & Rosemary Bagel is soooo rosemary-y it's fantastic! Great selection of bagels and cannot wait to come back, fantastic cream cheese spreads and toppings and great people with great energy. Prices for sandwiches are great, I wish take home bagels were a tad cheaper in bulk Also, Salt Bagel could have more salt, I like them like pretzels
Very amazing place. A good selection of bagels that taste absolutely delicious. The bagelwiches you can get from there are absolutely amazing as well. Triedteo and loved both of them. The bagels are done quite well and taste great!! It's a super cozy place that you can hang out in unfortunately not now due to the current circumstances but it would be, in the future, and would have been an amazing spot to hangout in. Definitely recommended if you're in the area!!
We bought some sesame seeds bagels yesterday in Brandon at the Apple and Pine Market They were dry and not very fresh despite the fellow telling us they we’re baked that day and driven out from Winnipeg . Disappointed The bacon and onion cream cheese was fantastic. Maybe we just got an older bag ?
Always nice and cheery. For me, I go out of my way for their bagels and coffee. 5 small tables so I suggest get it to go. Wonderful little place. Busy always but very quick service.
