This is a wonderful place in the university of Alberta campus. There are many restaurants just lined up in a big row. You will walk in the big corridor where you will see restaurants on both of your sides. Also, there are other student services located at this facility. It's a place where students can relax and enjoy after a hectic day. I would definitely recommend this place.
A long building that has residences above the main floor and businesses along the main floor. Several shops and restaurants located here, with a decent selection but most are fast food. HUB could be cleaned a little bit better in general, and the residences may be a bit loud at times due to the businesses below them.
It's basically a UofA classic. It's got decent food options and the A&W does great teen burger deals for students after certain times.
Great food and coffee spots, but I really don't recommend it as a dorm. It literally smells like Indian food all the time. I wonder how people can breathe up there...
Still a good place to shop for food and other things, and roam in or walk through, and plenty of seating throughout the building. It hasn't changed greatly since I was a student a decade and a half ago [and the decor and fixtures haven't changed hardly at all since it opened ca. 1971. It lends a bit of charm to the place, though]. I can't vouch for the student suites, although they *seem* little changed from my days at Uni, and back then their reputation was not the best. Don't take my word for it though.nnIt's a little unfortunate that most of the street level doors are now closed to the public, but after so many sexual assaults and other violent incidents - including that awful ATM robbery shooting a few years back - I can't blame them for doing that, if only to give residents a measure of safety.nnAnd if what I've said above scares you - don't be. Sometimes crazy things happen in malls, but 99% of the time HUB is buzzing with student activity and it's a nice place to be. Even on weekends when 3/4 of the stores are closed, it's a nice, chill environment to relax in between trips to and fro.
