Ordered the Chicken Chow Mein. Got home and the order was wrong. Went back figuring maybe I got someone else's order and they said that it was right and this is chow mein. Even after looking at it! Having ordered this many times at other places, as well as making a quick Google search, this is clearly wrong. Whatever this was, it tasted as good as it looks.
I wanna say Thank You so much to the owners and staff at Hunan Gourmet. The food is always delicious, you always take great care in the details of the orders. You Deliver to Franklin and your located in Oneonta. What a treat for the people of Franklin to share your cuisine with us. Would Highly Recommend
The wontons were so disgusting. The cream cheese that supposed to be in it was so hard it was like regular cheese. They look like they were sitting there for a week. The sauce he gave me was soup to dip. The wontons in the food is always disgusting. I would never know I could ever pay me enough to eat there. I’m surprised no one got sick from there yet, but if I would’ve ate those wontons and they had crab in them, I probably would’ve been in the hospital.
After the bad reviews I said maybe not ...but then went ahead and ordered general tso's chicken ,not spicy. It was absolutely the best chinese food I've had in Central NY over this past 12 years . Growing up and living in NYC I've had a lot of great chinese food and their general tso's is right there . Not sure about everything else but I was pleasantly surprised , thanks for a great dinner tonight .
good food but you'll have to ask for duck sauce like two times as they give u like 2 and I like to put it on my egg roll every bite and in my rice so yeah hit me with like 5 off bat I won't ask u for more so I won't be a botherFood: 4/5
I did a Doordarsh and my pu pu platter was not good the shrimp toast was burnt where you couldn't eat it.
Food was extremely bland. Won tons were very scarcely packed and the food was like warm.
Surprised with all the 1 star reviews, get the Szechuan dumplings and the bean rolls you won’t be disappointed
Ngl but the fried rice was good the ribs where a little greasy but good over all 8/10
I know this place gets mixed reviews, but I must say every time I've eaten here the vegetables are so fresh in every dish we've had. No soggy broccoli or floppy snow peas. Huge fresh mushrooms and clear crisp bok choy. No brown mushy week old veggies here. The people are friendly and helpful and the food is prepared quickly. The flavoring is much milder than most Chinese places I've eaten at but I'm guessing it's because they don't load it down with salt and MSG.
