I have a hard time giving this hotel one star. We were here for three days and requested a pool side room. We were told they were completely booked and yet there were only three cars in the parking lot. The staff was not friendly. Simple requests for additional towels and plastic utensils seemed an inconvenience. The “staff” was constantly on her cell phone. The room was billed the moment we checked in. We were going to cancel our remaining two nights however the account was debited. The website states a restaurant; it was not open at all the entire four days we were here.

Pros - Bed was comfortable - Price was right - Kids enjoyed the pool and pool table. - convenient location Cons - hotel is very dated - rooms missing some of the basic amenities you might expect to see, like plugs between the beds. - Bathroom in rough shape.

A great place to spend the night while on the road. The Hojo is showing it's age but over all it is great place. New bath tub insert and surround. Clean, lots of hot water. Fridge, microwave, coffee in room and breakfast.... We will stay here again on out way back...

Great basic accommodations, staff was super friendly and helpful. They also have a diy waffle maker at the breakfast buffet which was a nice surprise.

It served it's purpose as a place to sleep on the way home, but I wouldn't stay again. Our room smelled like cigarettes, and there were nicotine stains all over the bathroom ceiling, and dripping from the lip on the outside of the tub, wouldn't dream of bathing my baby in it. Floors were filthy, especially considering it was apparently cleaned right before we checked in. If you're traveling with children, be cautious of the pool. There is a VERY quick, and slippery drop off from the 3ft area to the 10ft end of the pool. The shallow area is very small, and the drop off is not marked.
