House of Nutrition first opened it's doors in 1977 and has been serving organic, natural foods and holistic medicine to folks living in the Wyoming Valley and surrounding areas since. We carry a wide variety of groceries that cater to special needs including raw food, allergen-free, and gluten-free diets. Our gift cases showcase local craftmanship and fair trade merchandise from around the world. Mill Hollow prepared foods and Bakery were added to the family business in 2004 and continue to thrive offering an array of organic and vegan homemade options.

This store is fascinating to a barely boomer. Natural foods and remedies are appealing. The essential oil selection is terrific. I always visit to buy birthday cards and such. Well worth a visit.
The customer service could be better. Cashier was not friendly
Great shopping experience, I was looking for several items and the sales associate was very knowledgeable and helpful in locating what I needed. She even said she could order something for me if I wanted. I also purchased a fresh pizza which was delicious. The man that rang me up was just as pleasant as she was. I will definitely be back!!
This is a very pleasant health food store located in the heart of Luzerne, Pa, just off of main street.nThis is an upscale nutrition store offering health foods interesting handmade jewelry and ready to eat snacks.nThe staff is knowledgeable and eager to share that knowledge. They were helpful in finding both a total body cleanse and a yeast cleanse for me.nPricing is a high but it's what I've become used to in a health food store. It is not far from Kingston corners and right off of the Cross valley expressway.
This place was great however the older woman that worked there was definitely following my friend and me around and it made us very uncomfortable. I probably would have spent a lot there since I’m vegan and it’s on my way home. Just because people have tattoos it doesn’t mean they’ll steal stuff. I’m definitely telling the rest of my tattooed vegan friends.
