This place is solid. We have been going there for years. Their crispy chowmein with beef are my favorite from the area. Now we can go in groups but I loved going there with new groups of friends to try new things on the menu and now all of my friend like it too so I always have some to go with.
The chicken fried rice was really really good. Best I’ve had in a long time. Sadly the Chicken balls were very dry but the fried rice made up for it.
I am a HUGE fan of fusion food dishes. House Of Gourmet now holds a special place in my heart as my absolute favourite fusion restaurant in Toronto and surrounding areas. My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed the food from here a couple of nights ago and I don't think I'll stop thinking about it for a while. Definitely worth the hype!
Chicken rice was great, chicken balls looked good- but were a bit bland
