En plein cœur du centre-ville de Gaspé se dissi­mule un établissement hôtelier insoupçonné. En remontant la rue Jacques-Cartier, une entrée mène à une enclave bordée d’une cinquan­taine de motels. Fermé au nord pour assurer la dis­crétion, le «platin» surplombe l’embouchure de la rivière York et s’ouvre largement sur la Baie de Gaspé. Il n’y a pas seule­ment les bâtiments qui attirent l’attention mais aussi la vue magnifique qui s’offre aux regards. Endroit paisible et reposant à l’abri des bruits de la circulation où il fait bon séjourner.

Room is a good size. Walls are like paper, you hear everything and when someone uses the faucets or shower, it's very loud you'd think it's in your room. No elevators, so carrying luggages 15 steps up and down isn't fun. The room is clean, but old. Rating it a 2 stars is fair.
Very clean, very well maintained. The ocean view is fantastic. It's actually a 4 star hotel hidden like a gem sparkling at the hillside of Gaspé bay. Definitely would visit again if I could not afford an RV but needed to quench the dream of traveling the east coastline.
You probably won’t get the room you booked and payed!nI booked a deluxe apartment with two beds and got a room with one bed. After complaining, the staff wouldn’t help us - not even an apology. Even they refused to print us an invoice.. after discussing for 15min I left without an invoice. Very unprofessional and unfriendly.nAlso: the images on booking.com are only few new built rooms - most of the rooms look much older.
A very good hotel, relatively newly renovated, spacious and clean rooms. Our room had an ocean view and a balcony with chairs, we could sit there to watch the sunset. The service was excellent. The only downside was it did not have an elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up or down stairs.
This stay didn’t live up to expectations, especially for the price. The room did not look as advertised—it felt outdated, with poor lighting, no side tables, and only one chair outside. Note, picture of room was taken with lights on, otherwise the lighting is very dim.nnUpon arrival, the front desk staff didn’t greet us or smile—we had to initiate the check-in conversation ourselves, which set a poor tone.nnWhile the hotel does have a pool and jacuzzi, I wish more effort had gone into customer service and room quality.nnAs well, Gaspé itself felt overly touristy; in my honest opinion, the surrounding towns have more charm and much friendlier locals. I’d recommend skipping Gaspé and exploring those areas instead.
