Great for families. Staff was really nice and friendly. The size of our room was perfect for our 2 kids and us. Having a computer in your room and a small fridge is a great plus when you travel with kids and being able to use the microwave in the lobby was a life saver for us. Breakfast was good and the hotel location and closeness to the subway is excellent - around 7 minutes walking. Overall, was great!! We really enjoy our stayed and is a definitely a place you would like to stay again.
I had a great experience here. The breakfast is from 6am to 10pm, so please take advantage of that. They have a parking so it is a plus because the majority of places, especially downtown you need to pay for parking so booking a hotel by downtown can be complicated. The rooms are amazing and you can adjust the temperature of your room. I do not have any bad experience when it comes to my 3 nights stay that I had.
Amazing little hotel. Location isn't bad but can be confusing to get to. Rims are very clean and well kept. While the property is not new, they've done a great job getting the place up to date. Breakfast was lovely and the staff are really good, kind, and helpful people. Rooms: Very spacious. Even have iMacs in the rooms!
Stayed in December of 2022. The location, service and level of care are fantastic. As a hotel that isn't part of a major brand such as Hilton or Marriott, I was pleasantly surprised at the high class attention to detail and comfort at Dauphin. Stayed for 2 weeks with my SO and will be staying again on our next visit to MTL. PS. The breakfast & 24hr coffee machine is awesome Food & drinks: Free buffet breakfast eggs, yogurt, baked goods, specialty coffee & tea
Me and my family had a wonderful time staying at Hotel Le Dauphin during our trip to Montreal, everything is comfortable and clean and the breakfast is top notch! I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city, it's surely our go-to hotel every time we come to Montreal : I'm also writing this review to highlight and show our appreciation to the incredible service we received from the front desk. My husband and I left a sentimental item in our hotel room by mistake and did not realize it was left behind until we were many hours away. The front desk quickly responded to our phone call and sent our item in the mail quickly and efficiently. We were very impressed with their kind and professional attitude and we thanked God that we left our item at Hotel Le Dauphin as opposed to another hotel. Again, a big thanks to the staff for their service, it is much appreciated!
No complains, everything was good. People were friendly, e.g. no one yelled at me for not knowing that masks were mandatory in Quebec. Apple desktop was a surprise. But I expected better croissants! :
Just what we wanted: nice hotel where we could leave our car and take metro into Montreal. Bonus: nicest staff ever and very good breakfast. NB: wasn't great on GF/DF options, but, the coffee was so good and there was fresh fruit, so, I will still go back and will still say breakfast was fantastic. My gluten and dairy eating partner LOVED the pan chocolate! And did I say the front desk staff were fantastic? Merci beau coup!
A very modern hidden gem. They had a computer in our room, and free wifi. The staff were really friendly. This hotel should be on your itinerary, as it's very reasonably priced. They also offer a complimentary breakfast. We didn't eat, but it smelled delicious. 10/10Rooms: 5/5
Nice Hotel. Great interior. It was really good value for the money. Free parking and Tesla changing is available.
We basically liked everything about the hotel. The room was nice and beds were really comfortable. The location is spot on, if you don't mind using public transportation subway to Montreal Center. Actually, give the parking situation in Montreal, I'd recommend to use the free parking this hotels offers and using the subway for transportation. There's a huge construction site next door. We were afraid of the potential noises during early morning hours but didn't hear anything.
