The Rimouski hospital is a joke. You have a good chance of dying before you can get to see a doctor. Even if there is almost nobody in the emergency room, you still get to wait for hours and hours and hours. The staff clearly does not care about their patients. I have a revolutionary idea for this hospital :HIRE MORE DOCTORS!!!!!!!!!!!. The place could use a good cleaning as well. It is clear that all of our tax dollars go into the bloated administration and there is little left for caring for and treating patients. Every hospital I have been to in any part of the world, including very poor countries, offers better care than the hospital in Rimouski.

Je me suis fais retirer la vésicule biliaire la semaine dernière en urgence. Je remercie tout le personnel de l'urgence, le chirurgien et son équipe et les infirmières qui ont pris soin de moi dans l'unité pédiatrique au 6e étage. Et aussi tous les autres membres du personnel qui se sont occupés de moi. J'ai été traité avec dignité et beaucoup de chaleur humaine. BRAVO

Thank you and gratitude to the following staff members: Marie Eve, Anna, Jérémie, and Dr. Kim Girard.nSpecial mention to the kitchen staff; an hour after the surgery, in the evening, I was served seafood spaghetti that was absolutely delicious—perhaps the best I've ever had! Bravo to the Director and all the staff!
