Hosaka-ya

Good little japanese restaurant in town. The fishes are tasteful and reasonably priced. Not like sushi in Japan, mainly the rice, but I think it is going to be one of the best in town.

The best food and service. Will definitely be coming back for more! The ambiance is just perfect.

Food is always great, the closest you’ll find to genuine Japanese, in Quebec. They also serve ume shu Japanese plum wine which is amazing

We only stay around for a night and craving for Japanese food. There are a few around but we end up here. I have order uni sashimi and maki rolls. Absolutely fresh and delicious! The manage is very nice and love their interior with a corner that selling small Japanese goods.

The food and service were very good. The place is also charming.

Great place and very tasty sushi

For me, when it comes to quality traditionnal sushi in quebec city, there really isn't any other then Hosakaya-ya...the hosomaki are especially tasty and original. And we just love the butterfish nigiri!
