There's a pictograph interpretive trail of you go straight down the main road in the park. There's bathrooms flushing toilets at the campground/day use area. The lake is so clear and water is clean. Plenty of picnic and bbq areas. There is even a tp and cabins that you can pay to stay in if you dont have a trailer or tent. I came here to soak my feet in the water after hiking. I didnt want to leave.
My family loves this place. We love to go there when it's very hot out the park is full of large shade trees and we picnic, bbq, swim and relax. You can also rent paddle boats and kyacks there. As well as camp in rv and tent spots though a bit spendy for an rv camp spot as well as a boat launch to launch your boat. There is also a shower bathrooms and friendly park rangers. It is a discovery pass park but you can buy a day pass at the park pretty cheap for $10.00 per pass.
Beautiful view of Columbia river, has a RV center and nice picnic area. Its clean and well kept. It has showers which are available thru fall, unlike maryhill park which closes early summer.
This was our location for our annual family Reunion and what an amazing place this is!!! Beautiful hike to see Tsagaglalal she who watches and the beautiful petroglyphs. Fun swimming but remember it is very windy.
We wanted a whole weekend paid for it and the camp post reserved our site under us and told us we had to leave or pay 10 more dollar for another store after we paid 50 dollars for the whole weekend and did not give us our money back so I would not camp at this place never again....... they need better people running this place
Stopped on way home. Walked the short interpretive trail with the pictographs. Very cool place. But made me sad for the lost native lands and their history.
It is a great place to visit. You can always spend all day there even with kids.
Lonely mountain side camping in the gorge variety of reasons I love this place only thing is it gets some very high winds I still love it though
