Stopped in on a nice sunny Thursday at open. Super friendly staff helped us with orders and we sat out on the back patio by the river. This place has very nice atmosphere and a mix of music. You could stick this restaurant in any city, Chicago, NY, etc…and it would fit right in and it would be successful, except it’s in Princeton, WI so let’s enjoy. While the menu is not huge, if I can find something to eat, I’m sure most others can as well. I ordered the H-Rad Beef sandwich and my wife had the grilled cheese w/bacon. Both came with a slice of watermelon, some chips and a pickle. We had one of the craft root beers and a lemonade that were in bottles. We finished lunch off with two huge cookies for a treat. It wasn’t too busy this early on a Thursday, so we chatted with one of the staff who recommended their Sunday night live music which sounded fun. Everything about the lunch and atmosphere was great and we will definitely be back. We were referred by some friends and we’ll tell people about it too. A+, 100% on layout, style, food and execution!!!
Excellent first-time stop! My kind of eclectic place with very tasty food and very friendly service. Loved the chai latte with almond milk, lots of great spice! I will definitely order the curry chicken sliders again! And the homemade pickles on the side? That's an instant 5-star!
Swung in here for brunch on the last day of my week long stay in Wisconsin from Colorado, and I figured out my mistake... I should have swung in here the FIRST day of my trip. Best cup of coffee I've had in the entire state, the brunch was AMAZING and modern, and every single dish of ours were standouts. The service was great and you could tell a family operation vibe was taking place for this Sunday brunch service. Will def make this my go to place when I return next month. Tucked into the sleepy cute little downtown of Princeton, plenty of parking and no wait, hit this place up.
I am not even kidding when I tell everyone this was the best lunch I've had in Wisconsin, ever! We drove up from Madison to check this place out and I am honest in my review that the venue is perfect, the food above spectacular, the employees are fabulous from the time you walk in to the time you walk out. This is an absolute gem and I'll be dreaming about this food until we get back!!
Wonderful atmosphere. Welcoming for everyone including our 15 month old daughter. Friendly atmosphere and dog. Lovely porch and view of the river. Staff are very friendly and accommodating They were willing to make a grilled cheese for our daughter even though they only were serving their limited menu at the time. Hope to make it back!
This is quickly becoming my favorite place to eat in the area. Not only is the atmosphere beautiful, but they take immense pride in everything they make. They source locally their breads come Renaurd's bakery just down the street, and they make a lot of their own ingredients like homemade lavender bitters for their cocktails. Vegetarian options: Meatless options such as the Capri sandwich. Kid-friendliness: High Chairs available Parking: Street Parking
The unexpected delight of our summer in Wisconsin. I wish I could post pictures of our food, but it was too delicious to wait. I loved everything about this restaurant. We will definitely be returning.
A lovely place staffed by very courteous and knowledgeable people. Delicious food , charming ambiance ; and sometimes they offer live music events. Beautiful location with the river right out back. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options. Kid-friendliness: A wonderful place for the whole family all ages.
Horseradish Kitchen + Market is an awesome, local spot. The aesthetic is so cool, staff is friendly, and most importantly the food is superb. The bread is super fresh and the sandwich I had ordered was delicious overall. We plan on coming back again in the future!
My friend and I stopped in over the weekend for a late lunch and had the most incredible time. The atmosphere and vibe in this place is just spot on. From the owners recommendation, my friend and I both got the “grape juice” cocktail, and our friendly mixologist, Scottie, prepared this magical and oh-so scrumptious drink table-side. The homemade bread on my “Armie sandwich was just perfection. I can’t say enough good things about this place. This crew hits the mark every time. If you’re looking for a fun, fresh relaxing place to spend some time, and enjoy some delicious food while you’re at it, this is your place.
