Very busy pizza shop. But I can see why. Its the first time I have ever been to Pudgies. The Stromboli was packed full and delicious. Bread sticks were good. Wings were perfectly spicy and sauced. Blue cheese dressing was awesome. The canolis were honestly the best I've had. It was not overly sweet. Im not a big canoli fan usually, but Pudgies did a phenomenal job. Staff was friendly and personable. We ate outside at the tables they setup. With social distancing applied.. Which was excellent because you got to see the cute town of Horseheads, NY. Historical Hanover square is well kept very quaint very cute. Thank you Pudgies.
We come in every year for Christmas w/ family, everyone always wants Pudgies, so we went with it this year. Ordered 5 sheet pizzas & wings, the wings were good, the pizza was a big disappointment. Had very little sauce hardly any cheese was more like eating dough with a sprinkle of sauce and a light topping of cheese. We’ll go back to our original menu next year.
Nothing at all like the Southside Pudgies. Ordered the same thing that I order at the Southside location, which is the chicken spiedie sub, and it was different. Not horrible, but different. The one I got here was very runny, for some reason. Also ordered a hot roast beef sub with cheese, and it was underwhelming to say the least. While waiting for our subs, observed the kitchen staff "free pouring" sauce into a container instead of portioning. Spent many years in a kitchen, and I know that free pouring isn't exactly how it should be done. I'll give them another chance in the future, and will try some different items, but this visit wasn't necessarily a good one....
Since moving to New York, spedie sandwiches have became my favorite thing. Lol I've tried them all over town and Pudgies on the Southside continues to stay number one. IMO... sheet pizza is great also.
It might not be a five star pizza place, but it is in my heart! Good pizza, great wings, and a cheeseburger sub that is unique and nostalgic. Feels like home!
Still as good as when I was a kid. Good pizza, lots of toppings. Great sauce. Friendly service. Got delivery- was supposed to take 45 mins- only took 20. It's pretty much everything the Watkins Pudgies isnt! And I got GF crust, really good. Pricey though.
If I could give 0 stars, I would’ve. Several times we’ve ordered from this Horseheads location and our order has been messed up. The first time it happened it wasn’t a big deal! We know accidents happen. But when we called to get it fixed the manager treated us like we were lying and wanted free food. But still fixed it. Another time, our order was completely wrong. Our $14 salads were the size of a side salad and my husbands had THREE golf ball sized lettuce stalks in his salad so must of his “lettuce” was stalk. I also asked for no olives and my salad was loaded. What if I had a ALLERGY?!?! - whatever we decided it wasn’t a huge deal and went on take the rest out of the bag. Then we realized they sent us fries over cauliflower and called to get it corrected and AGAIN, they acted like we were trying to get free food. Then they proceeded to tell us in order to get what we ORDERED we had to give back the mistake fries. Which is fine besides the fact it grossed me out thinking that they take back food from peoples homes and do exactly what with it? Resell it? You do not know how anyone lives or the kind of person they are. That has to be a health code violation. We have given them multiple chances to correct their mistakes and maybe not make one for once. They do not care about their customers nor are they willing to accept that they make mistakes and accuse customers of trying to steal. We will never eat from them again.
These guys are awesome! I had ordered online for the first time and didn't realize ordering a cheese and then selecting garlic as a topping meant there would be no sauce and my lil guy is a stickler for sauce and cheese. They remade a pizza for us right away free of charger to fix it and save the birthday boy's party. Would give them 6 stars for their service They definitely gained a loyal customer!
I'm here back home for the day and had to have some of my favorite pizza! Definitely delicious and fresh as ever! Service amazing as well! Best pudgies around! Thank you to Laurie especially!
Ordered a chicken wing pizza all the chickens in one spot on the pizza not even spread out sitting on top of the cheese undercooked I’m going Southside from now on
