Hopkins Dining Parlour

We are from out of town and researched the dining choices in Moose Jaw. We were drawn to the Hopkins Dining Parlour because of it being in a historic old house, the photos on their web site showing the variety of dishes. The fillet mignon was a feature, which helped seal the decision. The feedback from other patrons was very positive. So we get there and they sat us in a small dining area with two other tables seating 4-5 people. Very noisy and our waitress talked very loud. My husband ordered the fillet off the menu and was told it was no longer an option as it was no longer a menu choice. There was not anything else that appealed to him. So he ordered the full order of Caesar salad and to hold the croutons. His salad was served ... With croutons. My daughter and I had the chicken Alfredo. It was very good. As we were ready to leave the owner came over and did explain why they had to take fillet off their menu choices, but did not explain why they hadn't stricken it off their menu, however she proceeded to make fun of my husband. So, needless to say we will not be going there again.

Service was good. very nice vintage building. Food was kind of bland. I had the prime rib and it really just didn't have any flavor to it. Baked potato was good though.

We have been loyal customers of Hopkins for the past 7years where the atmosphere and food used to be excellent. Introducing parties of up to 17 people was common for us. Unfortunatly our last visits to this establishment have been met with cold food and less than hospitable staff. Hopkins has seen us for the last time last night. The owner should sell before bankruptcy. Dont waste your time or energy visiting this now less than impressive restaurant!!!!

Been here about three years ago but the food was amazing and the house was so beautiful! I just had to walk around and experience it all! The staff was really friendly too!

Cozy place! Amazing prime rib and really pretty patio with mature trees and tons of flowers, perfect for a laid back, slow afternoon on a warm day😍
