What a depressing place. The shelves are half empty and the cooler warm. Wanted to buy some half decent beer and they didn't have any, had to go elsewhere.

Its open late and its better than nothing. The "tip" option on the Interac is pretty annoying because its already overpriced and all they are doing is collecting your money.

It is the only place in BC I know of to get my best friend's favourite kind of old-man-who-has-smoker-voice-and-fishes-every-weekend beer. It's also got a just fine selection of liquor and a walk-in-fridge. It'll do ya.

This is a place to avoid if at all possible because the prices are very high. I paid $15.50 for a cold six pack of Bud today. I generally pay between 12.10 and 13.50 and have bought the same product in many locations. This was the most expensive domestic beer(excluding craft) that I have ever bought. But if they can get away with it - why not? I have a feeling that they don't get a lot of local traffic and feed off of people like me that pull in off of the highway. Thing is though, it screws the whole community because people often pull in to Hope for multiple items such as gas, food or like me beer. Why would they if thought the prices in Hope were crazy?
