I called Hoover and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She had someone contact me and within an hour a plumber was on my doorstep. The plumber was very professional, courteous and answered all my questions. He wore a mask and cleaned up after his work. Thanks
Prepare to be greeted by the worst customer service once you dial their number. It's amazing how the lady answering their calls even got the job. Avoid like the plague and don't take your business here.
Wow one of the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. They called me I didnt pick up i called back the lady says wrong number and hangs up

WARNING - A Word to the Wise...You would be better off not using Hoover Mechanical and their subsidiary company called Maintain Mechanical. We are not wealthy people and were taken advantage of by this company and the Condo Management company they are retained by. We did not get a quote for an inspection and they overcharged us on their work by a large margin when compared with other electrical and mechanical contractors in Calgary. They nailed us with a massive charge for a minor inspection. We tried to talk with them to see if they would negotiate with us but they would not. They eventually stopped communicating and put us on ignore. Classic bullying tactics - Pay Up or face collections and risk your credit rating. It seems they only care about money. Working with businesses that only care about money and the bottom line is not a good idea. I hope this review helps other people and businesses avoid making the same mistake we made. I have worked with Hoover Mechanical for over 10 years, and would highly recommend them to anyone. Their staff are knowledgeable and they make sure the job is done right and on time.
Terrible, stay away at all costs. Moved into a new unit in Legacy Park, Hoover was responsible for the plumbing in the building. Pipes make a big noise when I run my bathroom taps and the unit below me complained so they sent Hoover to my unit to attempt to fix the issue. I was open at first, and willing to work with them to fix the issue. Months down the line and 20+ appointments later, nothing is fixed and is in fact worse for me with the pipes making a large noise whenever the unit above me runs the water now. A complete and utter waste of my time and a huge inconvenience all around. These guys are a joke, stay away.
Your so called "Safety Officer" sure doesn't depict safety in any way at all. 1st he was going too fast in a traffic circle where he couldn't control his turning and hit the snow bank. 2nd he decided to speed up in a merge lane all the way to the end and force his way in, not sure if he noticed that it snowed over the past few days and the roads are icy. Driving a company truck is one thing driving a company truck with "safety officer" written on it when you aren't even being safe is another.
