This bakery is what dreams are made of... I'm so glad we made it here after I checked and realized they were only open Tuesday-Friday. I will be dreaming of the olive rosemary baguette and the cinnamon pull apart bread. First time coming across an olive baguette with multiple varieties Manzanilla, kalamata, castelvetrano? and it was fresh from the oven with incredible crust and crumb texture. We also got a salted chocolate chip cookie and that was excellent but honestly on par with other cookies I've had. As a home baker the baguette and pull apart are aspirational goals. Do yourself a favor and stop by Hooper's, get some fresh baked goods and enjoy at home or bring over to Rossland Beer to enjoy with a pint. If I lived here I'd be a regular.
The best baked goods I’ve had in North America — truthfully! Ben and his wife have created a lovely spot with freshly baked bread, pastries and cakes that seem to draw in the entire town at times. Keep up the great work!
Couldn’t hit 5 stars fast enough. Would’ve done 10 if I could!! Ham and cheese croissant was out of this world even without warming it up which is a rarity. We loved the sesame baguette and savory danish as well. Cannot recommend enough
Wow can I give this place more than 5 stars??????nLike seriously I have not had such perfect lamination since I was in Paris 15 years a go!nLike I live 8 hours away and I just might have to drive here just to have more of their bread and pastries.
We're staying in Rossland on vacation, stopped in today; friendly and attentive server directed our attention to almond croissants fresh out of the oven, they were heavenly! We picked up a lemon-raspberry custard tart for after dinner and it was similarly exquisite. What a great little bakery, the locals are so lucky.
