We heard about Hong Thai being good so we thought we would check it out. This is a hidden gem!! This place has great food and the best customer service! These are the best Wontons I have ever had. The lady working the front desk, phones, and serving all at the same time was phenomenal. She was always calm as they were extremely busy with take out orders. She was genuine and friendly. I would highly recommended giving this place a try.
The most delicious pad thai I have ever eaten. Great service, everything top notch! I highly recommend visiting and tasting! You will not regret it!
My mom and I were heading to an event. Stopped at Hong Thai. My mom had soup- Thai version of Pho - noodle soup . I had one of their authentic specialty-I chose beef. Comes on a bed of lettuce and a side of sticky rice. Nice flavors, I love herbs. Had hot tea- Oolong. Also had egg rolls- nice and crispy - wrapper is rice paper which is my preferred wrap over a wheat wonton wrap that you find in most Vietnamese restaurants these days due to the shortage/in crease price for rice papers. Server was professional , very nice. Food is tasty and affordable prices. I asked for her favorites off the menus since this is my first time . Will be back!
Every single item we ordered was DELICIOUS! Fresh, hot and flavorful. The won tons are the best I've ever had. The coconut sticky rice is to die for. The house salad has the best dressing I've ever had. Lettuce was crisp and fresh. Gentleman that took my order was polite and super friendly. Can't wait to go back.
Food was quick to the table and hot. Spring rolls and eggs rolls are a must have. Pineapple fried rice has a burnt taste, but nothing was burnt on the plate. Over all good Pad Thai was good, next will order a 3 for a bit more heat. Service was good and answered questions well. Had great recommendations for mean choices. Only down side was that if you are in the dinning room you can hear when people the kitchen.
i came in and ordered their shrimp pad thai level 3 spiciness. it had this amazing authentic taste to it, and the portion sizes were amazing for the price. our waitress was extremely friendly and did so much to make the experience as good as it was. i definitely hope to come back :
I typically do not rate restaurants due to the many different tastes that people have. But Hong Thai prepares some of the most delicious and authentic Thai food that I've tasted. Their spring rolls are so good that when I get the craving for them I'll drive from Princeton to get 'em. Yep! 5 star rating from me!
Absolute gem! Wife and I tried it for the first time and my gosh it's the most authentic tasting food I've had in years. The Beef Citrus Laab Legitimately tasted like home. Will definitely be coming back!Food: 5/5
They have doubled their prices and reduced their portion size in half. I asked for a 4 out of 5 for spice and their was zero spiciness to my dish. I paid $23 for a snack and I was still starving after lunch. I will not be returning, which makes me super sad because I used to love this place.
Good food. I find it strange that I could not get a legitimate receipt, or any explanation as to what the charges were. I was simply trying to determine how much of a tip to give. Then they charged an extra 3% for a credit card charge.
