I saw they recently re opened the buffet so I thought I would stop and try it. It didn't disappoint me. There was plenty of food and it treys were refilled often to keep the food fresh. The sweet and sour pork was my favorite. They had a very nice selection of desserts. The lemon squares were also really good.
This place is absolutely amazing! Best Chinese food in southern Alberta. I always order here! I’ve ordered Chinese from every other location in Taber when Hong Kong is closed and I always hate it because it’s so disappointing compared to Hong Kong. 100/10. Now the buffet is back on and it’s still the best!
Wow... just wow. What an experience. I ordered the combination with Beef & Broccoli, Chicken Chop Suey, Dry Garlic Ribs, and Chicken Fried Rice. I ordered mine with extra garlic. The cooks in the back nailed it!!! Each dish has its own distinct flavor, and the smoky flavor of the fried rice was done to perfection. Prices are reasonable considering you get HUGE portions. Restaurant is clean and pleasant and Kianna our server did an amazing job ensuring all our needs were met. I would DEFINITELY recommend this establishment for an excellent Chinese dining experience.
Best Chinese food around! Spring rolls- AMAZING Ginger beef- MOUTH WATERING Pork chowmein- INSANE Honestly it was all soooooo good. And the price, can't be beat. 100% worth driving from Lethbridge even. And incredible staff, super friendly and helpful
I ordered Vegetable fried rice spicy one It was tasty and also it’s remind me Indian street food where I used to eat . All staff are very energetic and respectful.
They don't have quite the selection in their buffet as larger communities and larger Chinese restaurants but for a small town business they're pretty goodFood: 4/5
We go to Taber from Lethbridge just for the food at Hong Kong Restaurant. The smoky flavour of the wok in their dishes adds flavour that is missing from a lot of western Chinese food. We always get additional dishes to take home with us. We've been eating there for over 10 years and we've never had a dish that wasn't made with fresh ingredients. I can taste the attentiveness in their food and their food is fresh and flavourful. *Full disclosure, we always order from the menu so I can not speak to the buffet.
we had vehicle trouble they were a short walk from our hotel the meal was excellent fast Wanton soup was bigger than expected would order small next time so as to not take the edge off the big meal thx ever so much
Was very clean inside and friendly, however the food was terrible. We ordered seaseme seed chicken, ginger beef and chicken fried rice, the chicken was crispy on the outside and mushy on the the inside. The ginger beef was burnt on the outside way too much sauce on each and the rice was terrible. First time eating here and will be our last.
We were in for supper on Saturday. The food is always very good. We noticed the price went up and the quantity went down. The price uppage is understandable but don't cut the portions down you will only loose more business. We will be eating there much less then we do now just for that reason.
