We have been using Fan for over 25 years, for all sorts of tasks. Her service was outstanding, always! She did what she was asked to do, exactly, within the time she promised, always! She is 100% reliable, does an excellent job, at a very good price. To see some of the one-star ratings among the reviews boggles our mind. Amazing prices for tailoring and dry cleaning! A heads up that it’s cash only. And seeing from this hours of operations sign she has up, the store is open Tuesday to Sunday 10 AM to 6 PM.

Would not recommend this place to anyone, ever. I went last year and asked for two curtain panels to be hemmed, and they came back different lengths from each other, 12 inches difference, effectively ruining them completely. Thought I would give her another try recently and asked for linen curtains to hemmed again. Wrote directions out and everything. They came back 4 inches shorter than requested. I think the measuring tape she uses is stretched out, because how else can that be explained? She also completely ruined my Reformation dress. It took her 6 weeks to complete a simple hem and sleeve cuff. I had asked for 1/2 sleeve length and she made it full sleeve length. Argued with us even though I pulled up the reference images I showed her that day again, and wouldn’t take responsibility. Never ever go here unless you want a long wait and your items ruined.Service: Alterations

Very good prices, very nice lady working here she sewed on a bunch of patches on a 20 oz denim vest. She wasnt able to do all of them by machine because of the pockets so she did a bunch by hand as well. Very professional, i will deffinetly be going back in the future for more work. Thank you.

I have had pants hemmed and tapered, a vest taken in, and blazers altered by Hong Hoa and I will be giving them all my business from now on! They do a wonderful job, at a very fair price and the staff is very helpful and kind. Also, they keep very convenient hours so its never a hassle to drop things off or pick them up.

I will never go anywhere else! They are so so nice and so helpful. Not only did they have the best PRICE out of the multiple stores I called in Calgary, but they were also the fastest! They did my bridesmaid dress perfectly. No concerns and no complaints! I will be going back there for everything I need in the future and would recommend this place! Its a little tricky to find, but it is soooo worth it!!! Thank you so much for the speedy and quality work!

I've been going to Hong Hoa Alterations and dry cleaning for over 10 years. Mary and her team does a great job for both. Customer service is excellent and jobs are done fast and with precision. I trust my clothing with them and they come highly recommended.

0 stars. I read on the storefront sign and also from reviewers that she had a very fast turnaround, so I took a dress to her Tuesday morning which needed the straps slightly altered. Owner was not friendly nor warm towards me. She asked me when I needed the dress done, and I told her Saturday if possible. She basically shooed me out of her shop rudely and abruptly, saying she was too busy to do it. Had she been kind about it, I wouldn’t have minded. But I don’t recommend this shop to anyone based solely on her rudeness. I really wish I experienced the same positive experiences other reviewers provided, but that was definitely not the case.

This place is a low key, get the job done, great priced shop. It's a little hard to find, but it's well worth the hunt. They're quite busy and it took longer than I wanted, but for $8/hem, you can't go wrong. The quality of the stitch is great too.
