One of fave local go to spots for authentic Chinese cuisine. Located in a strip mall off the beaten path in Mississauga, they never disappoint! A few of the dishes you also have to try are the salt and pepper shrimp, calamari or chicken wings. They definitely bring the heat and the portion sizes are enormous! I also recommend their Shanghai noodles. Spicy curry noodles with chicken and shrimps. They also offer a large assortment of bubble teas, the mango one is my fave! I'll be back soon!
Not sure what happened to their food quality as we've ordered from them for years for catering. Prices went up significantly and the size portions were smaller. From my understanding the stall next to them was closed for the day on a Saturday and they were swamped with orders. Regardless, the quality of our food was below satisfactory. The fried rice wasn't even mixed together, there was plain white rice on the bottom and all the meat/veg mixture was on the top. Also, their large trays look like medium trays compared to before. I will be looking for another caterer from now on.
I am back at this mall again. Yeah...another leap into the Time Machine. Once again, this restaurant has been here since I first visited back in 1997-1998. They offer classic HK style dishes either a la carte or in combinations Which comes with White Rice . Their party trays are beyond popular !!! Which makes perfect sense in reality because if you have a family of 4-6+ people, then ordering the party trays are a great deal. For their selection and variety, please view the pics of their menu. To me, it is typical and standard HK Chinese food wares here which screams familiarity and comfort food. It is cash only....so nothing has changed because it was cash only back in 1997 already. So no big deal here. The food is home cooked good and honest. The portions are quite generous for the price. For the amount of food vs. price ratio here in Mississauga, it is a very good deal. Unless you want to hike up to Scarborough, Markham and Richmond Hill.....you get the idea. The service is efficient and courteous. This a bases clearing triple into the gap in left centre field !!! A++ experience all the way here.
We ordered a big family platter $75 of Beef and veggies And we're so disappointed when we opened the packaging as there was barely any meat in it and the remainder was mainly full of onions. You can imagine how we felt when we had to feed 25 adults. When we called the owner the following day, She was very rude and hung the phone up on us. This was very disappointing as we have been ordering food from them for many years. Will not be ordering from here again.
The deep fried chicken wings is like crack. So addicting man. Make sure you choose spicy. Its not spicy at all, its just the seasoning they put on the wings. Try it one time I dare you..
Been going here for over 13 years. Great dirty, greasy chinese food!Food: 4/5
I just ordered 5 trays of food and they all taste nasty. It taste like they used old oil and re-used it on all 5 dishes. I am embarrassed to share this with my family. The after taste is so bad. It gives a rancid seafood after taste that lingers for 5 minutes. You would need to use a whole water bottle just to get that taste out of your mouth. They try to mask this nasty taste with an excessive of batter and salt.
Anyone giving this place anything over 2 stars you really need to up your standards in life.Ginger beef is basically bread with who knows what kind of meat inside if any meat.Food: 1/5
PLEASE read. I would rate one star if I could. I ordered take out in this restaurant for a quick meal. After eating Half of the food I found a cockroach inside one of the noodle boxes.
Maybe we got the chef on an off day considering the high ratings on google but this has to be some of the blandest tasting food my family and I have ever had. We were excited to try this as it is run by the same owners as Lemon Grass but the quality of food is nowhere near Lemon grass. I swear a frozen Chinese style dish from Walmart has more flavor than this. We had a family combo of chicken fried rice bland, noodles bland with no sauce, general tao chicken actually had some flavor: salt and some kind of honey garlic pork that was burnt and frankly looked better coming out than goin in. On the positive side, the portions were generous. We hate wasting food, but I wouldn't feed my dog this. Tossed most of it after trying to give it a chance. Never again.
