This is a hidden gem. The chicken is fried perfectly with a crispy breading and tender juicy inside and the Ramen was spectacular. The food was matched with a gorgeous atmosphere and wonderful service that was prompt but gave you space to enjoy the food and your conversation. Already excited to return!
I am a traveler who will spend this summer in Canada. There was no restaurant that met expectations because it was not staying in a large city. Until you visit here... Ramen, chicken, and rice bowl were all so great that I could have a pleasant meal with my children. The price, service and taste were all satisfactory. I will visit here again before I finish my trip.
Great fried chicken. Made with a nice crisp and with in Asian style cuisine. Comfortable waiting and dining room. A little pricey, but as a treat its worth it.
The chicken tendies were Fantastic, crunchy, moist and full of flavor. The waffles were very tasty. By far in my top 3 for fried chicken. Keep up the good work. Also maybe leave some menus on the bar, so when your on the phone people can look over the menu while there waiting for you to get off the phone. Just saying. Totally recommend this place can't wait to go back. Cheers
I stopped in on my birthday and was blown away by the quality and taste of the food. I got an appetizer, a main and a beer for $30. Great price, fantastic taste. This is one of my travel stops from now on.
Amazing! This is quality you don’t normally come across. Everything was fresh, delicious and flavourful. Gyoza and spring rolls were great, piping hot to. The monster fried chicken platter was the perfect size and price for 2 people. I will have to come back and try the ramen. A gem of a place in Stayner and a must try for quality Korean style fried chicken.
Fantastic place found unexpectedly in stayner! Food is great! Fried chicken is Fantastic! Korean style too, so not greasy at all!!! The ramen was terrific! Perfect amount of broth so the ingredients didnt float! Full of flavour! And noodles cooked to perfection! 100% will return!
The food was amazing! The spicy ramen was just spicy enough, the spicy chicken was very flavorful. Overall, an excellent dining experience.
overall: stick to fried chicken if you're coming here. appetizer platter was good, but gyoza and spring rolls were a bit overfried. gyoza tasted frozen and were oddly dry on the inside once you bit into it. chicken sandwich had more than one piece of chicken personal pet peeve, the same as the ones in the appetizer. coleslaw was too watery. onion rings were fine. tonkatsu ramen was meh. bamboo shoots tasted weird; we didn't eat the rest after trying them. some parts of the fishcake were sour; i spat it out. egg was overcooked read: hardboiled. pork belly was unconventional; it looked and tasted like bacon. ramen noodles were fine. soup was a bit too salty. soup looks pink/orange in the pic due to their red ceilings. looks white/normal under flashlight service wasn't bad, just very slow. there is a weird mildewy smell that another user mentioned.
You have to eat here. No longer live in the area, so pleasantly surprised to find this place. Top 3 best Fried Chicken I have ever tried. Fantastic crunch and wonderful flavour. The chicken was delicious, tender and moist. We also tried their Ramen. Beautiful flavours, good size for what you pay, and an enjoyable meal. Be a perfect treat on a cool Fall day. Take the chance on this restaurant and give them a try. Great food, good prices, and prompt friendly staff.
