I would certainly state that this is a worthy competitor to Cane's! Starting with great customer service, I ordered the Hun Bun Deal, and was quite satisfied with the amount of food I got! The fries were freshly made, lightly salted, the chicken sandwiches were convenient to eat in the car and the chicken was quite good! But what really made it stand out were the sauces. Their classic was certainly comparable to Cane's, but their hot honey was fantastic. Looking forward to trying out their other sauces!
Great chicken and great service! This is very comparable to other chicken strip chains, and you’re supporting a local business. I would choose this over the chains just for that reason alone, and the chicken is just as good if not better!. Very simple menu which makes it easy to order. I will be back again.
Got it to go and it’s very good! The sauce was ok but really enjoyed the hot honey with the chicken. Will definitely try it again fresh at the restaurant.
Best was low sodium fries and less marination on chicken, so that we can enjoy chicken and not marination. Chicken was little salty but with less salty fries it was giving perfect combination. I felt fries to be little less warm but my partner felt they were ok.
Ordered online for delivery. I live roughly 4 miles from the location. My food was ice cold like it was sitting out over night. Fries are meh. Chicken was decent. Sauce is delicious. Bread was like a crouton. The banana pudding size is a joke. I should of read the reviews before hand. Update 12.01.22. I added a star for the stellar customer service experience I received from Joe at Honey Bee's. He tried to make it right but I politely declined. Maybe I will give them another chance but in store rather than delivery as who knows what the 3rd party delivery people or how many order's they deliver at a time.
Customer service was good. Chicken was questionably undercooked, fries were luke warm. And to top all they charge 60 cents for 2 teaspoons of honey mustard. The honey mustard was amazing tho . Was over 12 for a 3 tender meal. I would give it a second chance in a couple years if it survives.
The sides are pretty much always soggy. This time i asked if i could just get tenders because I won't eat the fries or toast anyway... tenders alone were $15. the meal with sides is $9. and they didn't give me the sauce i also paid for. The second star is only because the tenders are decent. but i would've gone to any chain restaurant for the price i paid for tenders, and i probably won't come back here. there's other options
Great chicken but it's overpriced. $11 for 3 small tenders, trash fries, toast and a drink. I won't go back.Food: 4/5
Incredibly small tenders for the price. About 3-4 inches each I would reckon. As another reviewer has mentioned below, Hive Sauce is strikingly similar to Heinz’ mayo ketchup. Diet Coke soda had little to no syrup in it. Shocking for ~$10. Also the “sandwich” is falsely advertised — the sandwich meal only consists of a single chicken tender on a hot dog bun. This meal runs about ~$8 friend’s picture for reference. Food itself is okay but overall a very disappointing experience.
Stole $40 from us! Ordered delivery from the website and the driver delivered the wrong order. After being on the phone for over an hour trying to explain the situation to multiple people, we were promised a refund. It’s been almost a week and we haven’t gotten anything yet.
