Had the worst experience in home town. I usually love going there, and am a returning customer. I love the ladies who work in there usually, and they usually remember my family and I. Today was so different. A newer girl was working (I have never seen her so I'm guessing she's new). She charged her friend who was in front of us a really low price for lunch with a drink. Even lower than the employee meal discount! When her friend left she was rude towards us and of course made us pay full price (which I am okay with, wasn't jealous, just mad). My mom told a manager who told her to make the friend full price. For the rest of our lunch she made rude faces at us when we came up to get food. My mother and grandmother have seen her before working and I guess this isn't the first time that she's been rude to customers. She played on her phone and went to talk to her friend while people waited to be seated. Very bad experience.

Sunday prices are extremely too high for dried out chicken and food never being stocked. For almost $15 a person, the quality of the food should be way better than what it is. Atmosphere is wonderful, service is impeccable, the only thing I would improve is humbling the over the top prices and improving the food quality.

We love eating here because of the variety of food and price is good. Plus it's very relaxing and you can easily bring a group.

Service was awful. I brought my husband and four children and one of the employees was talking about my children with two women who were obviously regulars there. They were saying we got four plates each staring at us laughing about it. It was dead in there but that is no reason for my family to be the topic of anyone's conversation. Way to go buddy! Well, we wouldn't have had to waste four plates each if the food was decent or at least fresh. I told my kids go ahead until they find something that was edible.. This was our first and last time at Hometown Buffet. Im usually not a bad reviewer but I dont want anyone else to have to go through that. However, the soft serve ice cream was a hit!

They treated veterans with great respect. Food was delicious.
