Was legitimately the best food I can remember having in a long time, world class cuisine. The charred octopus absolutely blew me away and the staff were fantastically knowledgeable and brought me replacement vegetables when I informed them of an allergy. The atmosphere was also very charming. Would recommend this place to anyone.
Not just a dinner out; an EXPERIENCE! Owner is extremely knowledgeable about his wine. You’re missing out if you don’t do the wine flights with your meal. Fun atmosphere and phenomenal food. Only suggestion is more comfortable chairs at the tables. Thanks again
This was hands down one of the best meals and dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Across the board. Food, service, ambiance, value, all 10/10. I can’t remember the last time I went to a restaurant and left feeling like I got more than my moneys worth. The food and flavour profiles were second to none and the and ingenuity of the menu was incredible. The only bummer is that I’m from out of town and can’t become a regular! Regina is so very lucky to have this establishment. I have travelled across the world always trying to find hidden gems along the way and this was truly one of the best meals I have eaten out. Bravo Homestead!!!!!
Visiting family in Regina from Sydney, Australia and dining at Homestead was a highlight. The menu was really interesting and every bit was beautifully presented and tasted great. The wine list is exceptional and it's worth letting the wait staff to pair your wines for you. The table settings take you back to your childhood with plate and cutlery that mirror any found in the 70's and 80's. Worth a visit and great for a group - they accommodated 15 of us with ease. A great night with great food and wine in Regina.
My husband and I visited Homestead for our Anniversary dinner. We did the wine pairing with the large plated course meal. Amazing is not a big enough word to explain how amazing and flavorful our meal was! To make the experience even better, our server, Emily was a blast! She was so funny and down-to-earth. We really enjoyed her service and sense of humor. She also shared her sweet playlist she made for the restaurant, which made the vibes in the restaurant even more fun. We cannot wait to come back and hopefully have Emily again!
New to Regina. So happy to come across this lovely and unique restaurant/wine bar. Great service, lovely wines and atmosphere. Owner was present and welcomed us as well as making a point to thank people for coming as we left. So many beautiful and unique wines to try. Guess I'll need to go back. Highly recommend.
Sadly not the best experience and this may be why: I booked a table during the Valentine’s set menu with my partner who is vegan. I was looking forward to a lot of the menu items that eventually weren’t included due to dairy or animal products. Popcorn, while delicious, is not a suitable equivalent to oysters. They did include a lot of creative dishes but my request to include animal proteins for myself was put aside to accommodate my partner. Hope to return without him to get the full experience I was hoping for. Regardless, we had a great time, the service and atmosphere was incredible 90s hip hop was a fun touch unfortunately the vegan options felt like a scramble on their part.
Came here for dinner tonight and the service was incredible, the staff are knowledgeable, kind, and went above and beyond for us. The food was beautifully presented with delicious flavours that I haven’t had anywhere else. This place is truly a gem and I hope to come back soon. Thanks for putting so much TLC into what you do and for accommodating our dietary needs! Peak hospitality.
My husband and I LOVE Homestead. Every time we've visited has offered a unique food experience and Josh never fails to introduce us to new amazing wines. If you have not been yet you must visit! This is one of the best dining experiences you will have in Regina!
