HomeSense is a great place for home décor and unique finds. I furnished a big part of my home from here, and I’m really happy with the quality and style. They have a wide variety of items, from furniture and decorations to kitchenware and accessories. You can always find something different every time you visit. The prices are reasonable for the quality, and it’s a fun place to explore if you’re looking to upgrade your home. Definitely worth checking out!
Best location to shop! Nicely stocked and organized. The staff on the other hand could use a lesson or two in customer service. The lady at the register didnt even say hello Just started scanning, I then decided to put an item back after realizing I had already grabbed something similar. She made an excessively loud sigh like a teenager who didnt clean her room properly. I kindly apologized and got a hmmpf from her. She tossed the receipt in my bag and that was the end of her interaction. A simple hello, a thank you or hey no worries I can remove that item no problem goes a long long way.nThankfully the store itself is amazing I would go back
nnWinners in West Edmonton’s Mayfield Common is one of the largest in the city and feels almost like a flagship location. The aisles are spacious-clearly marked, making it easy to navigate, and there are always great discounted deals, especially at the end of many aisles in the home decor and housewares sections.nnThe selection here is impressive—tons of homewares, furniture, artsy and seasonal Knick knacks and clothing. Compared to other Winners locations, this one seems to carry some of the nicer brands, though the men’s section feels a bit small for the store’s size.nnA lot of tills, fast moving cash outs and a friendly bunch of staff. I keep coming back, and on this visit, I found some great home items. Definitely worth checking out!
I shop at this branch once in a while and the times I do, it seems the customer service is not vey great especially the cashiers. I was very hesitant writing this review but the interaction was just so unpleasant and if I don’t write something I’m sure it’ll remain unchanged. Some of the younger folks need an attitude adjustment, and not be so snobby and quick to dismiss my questions like I’m stupid. I don’t want to go into the details, I just want to say that some of the girls need to treat customers with respect. If you can’t fake being nice then at least fix your facial expressions. Sorry I don’t work at winners to know your policies by heart I’d like to describe exactly who they were but I’ll refrain from that to save them the further embarrassment. If I have another unpleasant encounter, I will call them out the next time I visit and write another review for this place. I’ll be more specific then.
Need to train their staff better on their store policies. Needed to return an item that I didn’t even use and was told by the girl over the phone that they can do a refund without a receipt. Drove 30min as we live out of town just to be told by the same girl that its store policy they cannot do a refund without the receipt. Kind of silly.
