Marcela is by far the worst and the most rude manager I have ever met. It’s unbelievable that she got this job, I’m urging the Store Director to let her go since she is pushing customers away. I bought a piece that is $1000 plus tax, it was severely damaged she didn’t provide any discount, she didn’t allow us to pick it up within 2 days and gave us only 24 hours to pick it up although we paid for it and it was super expensive, damaged and big. Furthermore she refused to put item behind and keep it safe or to properly warp it and protect it from further damage. On top of everything, she was lecturing us on how it would not fit in our van and how we should remeasure it and ensure it fits, we said numerous times that we have a huge truck and that 10 items like this could fit, but she kept behaving like we were kids. Honestly we were shocked. Furthermore, she told us how no one can help us put it in the van if we come after 5pm, well what’s her job then? She seems like a strong lady so if she doesn’t have employees to help what kind of management is that…This is a pure joke. It’s a very nice store and they have nice pieces but due to her being rude and unprofessional, we will never be back. There are so many reviews with the same or similar experiences so please seriously consider replacing the manager, a serious chain such as Home Sense should not allow this embarrassment. She needs much more training on how to deal with customers and how to provide a professional service.
I am a Real Estate Agent that specializes in home staging, so I frequently come to this location for materials. During some of my visits, Sabira F never fails to be of great assistance as she offers to help me pick out furniture and advises me on how to style/arrange pieces. She approaches every interaction with kindness and attentiveness, which makes every visit not only productive but also enjoyable. Her customer service, hospitality, and insight is always appreciated.
It was my first time coming here! Since this place is near me, I’ve never actually checked it out until a week ago and personally, I love it. They have so many variety of things here. I especially came here to look at the clocks and they have such cute nostalgic clocks. It’s so affordable too! Seems like everything is stocked up and associates are very friendly and helpful. I recommend to come here if you are looking for a HomeSense to find good things. Plus they have a lot of hello Kitty here and I love hello Kitty and I know there’s others out there that loves it too
Britney, Jackie and Marcela helped me out a lot at HomeSense! I was struggling to find a wedding gift and they helped me find the perfect one, and Britney even helped me gift-wrap it. I highly appreciate their hospitality and customer service. Besides this, the store is huge and you can find pretty much everything here. The staff is super friendly and helpful if you're confused about anything. Thanks again for your help guys!!!
Probably the worst location in all of Ontario solely because of their customer service. Both their staff and management are always so rude. Either I’ve experienced it myself or witnessed it happen to other customers; why do they all have an attitude? Always an unpleasant shopping experience.
