Homer's Record Stores

Someone from the store contacted me via email, to tell me the price of an item (even though I did not inquire about the price). I arrived at the store at 7:30pm to find the lights on and employees inside, but the door locked. Mind you, this was an HOUR AND A HALF before their posted closing time of 9:00pm. Call the store, someone tells me they "closed early for a store meeting" so then I email them and whoever replied said they "closed early because business was slow". So first, their stories don't match. Second, nowhere on their Facebook or website was there ANY mention of closing early. Lastly, and what pissed me off the most, if they're going to go out of their way to message me, why could they not mention that they were closing early? When I came back the next day the staff was Incredibly unwelcoming and unfriendly. I did not feel welcome, whatsoever. This was an incredibly frustrating experience, and I will NEVER be shopping here again.

Cool place to buy music and movies and collectibles. Lots of variety in music and movies, great prices on new and used music. Lots of vinyl, cassettes, CDs, DVDs, and VHS options for the avid collector.

This is without question, the best place to buy record's new & used. They also sell compact disc's, cassettes, DVD's, books, the list goes on and on. Friendly helpful staff ready to answer any questions, they even do special orders!

Alot of music if you want some old school hip Hop go to Homer's or old records you trying to find go to Homer's because they probably got it.

I love it here. The last true record/c.d. shop in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area left!!! The atmosphere is great and they sell/ buy used records, cassette tapes and c.d.s, and DVDs and I think even stereo equipment. If you can't find it, they'll order it. If they can't oder it, they'll point you to all ( if more than one) directions so you can. I hope they never close for good. I would be lost without them!!!
