I phoned the Georgetown location looking for a bracket for my deck. I described what I was looking for and gave the item number. the person at the lumber desk said he would go and look to make sure they had the item. he returned to the phone and said they had "lots" of them, I then double checked with him to make sure it was correct and he said "yes". I told him I would be by to come pick them up. needless to say it was an hour drive to get there.. I go to where the brackets should be and could not find it.. I then went to the lumber desk inquire about the bracket I had called about.. the person at the desk was assisting a lady in front of me with a broken decorative item so I proceeded to patiently wait... and wait... and wait for about 15 minuets... the line behind me was getting longer and longer.. he then left and disappeared with this lady to go find some glue or double sided tape to fix her item... meanwhile no one else was at the lumber desk and the rest of the staff where stocking shelves and not paying attention to the customers waiting.. I then left the line and tried to search again for this item myself.... with no luck. I finally found someone to help me... they could not find the item I was looking for and then referred me back to the lumber desk to again wait... and wait... finally someone else showed up to the desk and I asked about the bracket that I had called about and showed him a photo of the product. he looked it up on the computer and proceeded to tell me that yes they did have 5 of them but they are spoken for and could not sell me them. I told him that I had called was told they had them... and also that I drove an hour to get here and all he could tell me was they were spoken for and offered me no other options. I went to find the manager.. told her my issues.. she looked up the item and it said they did indeed have 5 of them... so we went back to talk to the person who "helped" me... again looked it up on the computer and then they both realized after a few minuets of discussing their inventory software that they did not even have the items I was looking for!!! Probably the least knowledgeable most inept and the worst customer service I have ever experienced at any hardware store... including home depot!! that's saying a lot! NEVER! NEVER! going back there.

Love all these guy and gals that work there. Never been in there and they havn't been able to answer my question.
