Very disappointed in the service I was provided today.. went in buying a gift. I Go in and looking for the reciprocating saw for 139 dollars on sale I Asked the clerk on duty if it was the correct item, and they said yes. Ok great thanks . I Walk up to the counter and was told it was 319 dollars. So now they try and find the correct item.. Proceed to wait for 20 mins while they try and find the product... Finally they find it and I payed and left Point in the matter.. The clerk I asked the first time should have made sure I had the correct item before going to the check out.. Please improve on displaying and making sure there is items on the floor for purchase..
Went in on April 5th. No cashiers, only self-checkout. If you are going to be that cheap and not have at least one cashier, then at the bare minimum you should have an attendant at the self checkout. When trying to pay for my items, it kept saying "insert card" even though it was. Tried a few more times, but no luck. The only employee in the vicinity was at customer service, who was handling returns. Ended up leaving my entire cart and went across the street to Home Depot, where they actually had staff ready to help. Will not be back. I recommend going across the street to Home Depot.
The staff was really helpful. On Sunday 26th March 2023, my basement flooded, and Leyla Glenn lumber manager was extremely helpful. She assists us the entire way until we are finished and thumps up all the way.
We’re not ones to do returns often, today we had to and when we came into the store to customer service we were met with difficult customer service reps We did not have our receipt so we were prepared for an in store credit would had been around $40. The women who assisted at customer service both told us rudely that we did not buy the products from them had Rona tags on them, didn’t call the department we were returning to investigate and a refund couldn’t be made- basically calling us liars. We indeed did purchase the products from their store. After returning to where we initially picked the products from a few days earlier, the products we purchased were indeed on the shelves. We returned to customer service to prove they did indeed sell the products. We were eventually given the refund after the store manager acting assisted us and apologized. It was rather disappointing to be treated this way, sure appreciate the gentleman who helped us today- wish we could give him 5 stars for his assistance.
The sales associates, Lexi and Justice, made every effort to find the best fridge and stove for our kitchen reno where the space has limited dimensions. I have purchased other major appliances from these same associates in the past, and those shopping experiences were also extremely favourable. After taking extra time to physically walk thru and check the rear warehouse for in stock fridge and stove, which produced a limited result, they proceeded to find inventory in other stores and called them to confirm that inventory was in fact there. During the entire customer service experience, Justice and Lexi were friendly and helpful. They were able to secure a fridge and stove with delivery this week. Very grateful for all their efforts which extended beyond what I normally experience in other retail environments!

Average Lowe’s, staff are nice and very helpful! Store is somewhat confusing to navigate and the placement of things feels random. There are better hardware stores, but this one is pretty good.
THIS PLACE DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE A 1 STAR RATING!!! Saturday Dec 31: We ordered a fridge from the St. Albert Lowes with promosed delivery to our house on the following Thursday Jan 5. Thursday Jan 5: Received notification that that cannot deliver when we were told they would. They said they could try for next week. My husband declined and said he can pick it up on Tuesday Jan 10 if it can be delivered to the St. Albert Lowes location by then. They confirmed that works. Tuesday Jan 10: My husband had the day off work and was prepared to go pick it up. They advised it is not there yet and said it would be tomorrow. Wednesday Jan 11: We were then told it would be delivered to St. Albert on Friday before noon. Friday Jan 13 at noon: Not delivered as there was an issue with the delivery from the distribution center in Calgary. I was told I would get a phone call before 8pm today with an update... Saturday Jan 14: Still nothing. No phone call, nothing. Went to the store and asked if it is in to which they said they were pending for an update from the distribution center. We got a refund and left. Will never deal with Lowes again!!! Got the fridge we wanted at Leon's 1 hour later and went home with it--they were THE BEST
Lost my business today as they are the only business in the entire city without tap. Shortly after this review they had transitioned to new systems and this was a big plus! Changed from 1 star to 4
