Another person who had a great 9 years here. The kids are really friendly to each other. We all came together to make school days great, despite the school's low standardized testing scores Especially in math, where the highest mark in 5 years has been 65. My Grade 6 class 2014-2015 was the lowest also, so that's good I guess? The actual education was just okay especially P.E but to sum it up, it was the community that made this school great. It wasn't the teacher's fault that the education was just okay. The budget was a tad low, and most of our textbooks were outdated, and/or approaching the 2 decade mark in age. It doesn't really help that the school is of a relatively small size as far as population goes The after school programs are pretty cool I was a part of them from 2011-2015 and the activities they host are engaging and fun. Once you hit the intermediate level though, you can't attend it, meaning you'll have to take the bus. If you want to come to a school where you feel instantly welcomed, this is for you. If you want a school where you wish to go above and beyond in your education, might want to keep looking.
I love this school the kids here are friendly and nice if your kid has trouble making friends well it's no problem here your kid will be easily accepted ! Our teachers are great and we learn at a fast rate , great music program too ! New kids should join !
I miss Mr Yam, Mr Facca and Mr. Caruso. I hope they’re doing well. 2016 Grade 8 Grad trip to Ottawa was amazing, and something I remember to this day.
great school, but there was no floor hockey in gym class, which I don't like
Mr. Yam is the bomb diggity and Mr. Facca should be rehired full time
