Holy Cross Academy is an independent, co-educational, junior-senior high school teaching in the Catholic tradition and faithful to the Magisterium. It was established with the personal blessing of the bishop of Syracuse and is registered with the New York State Department of Education.
HCA exists to support and assist parents — the primary educators of their children — in the education and formation of the students, and to help students on the journey to their proper end: Heaven.
HCA seeks to instill in our students an appreciation for the rich culture and tradition of the Catholic Church, to expose them to the classic authors and works that have highly influenced Western Culture, and to teach critical thinking, analytical skills, and the harmony between Faith and reason. Students are challenged to reason logically and build a truly ethical foundation for their future lives and men and women of faith, informed citizens and responsible adults.
