This venue is the fantastic!nOne con is that it's not wheelchair accessible inside, the dance floor is down steps which is a bummer.nI love the energy of this place, I've been twice now for emo night. It's small enough that it makes you feel safe but bumping enough to have a killer time.nIf you're wondering if or if not to go to an event here I say go for it!
Really love the smaller venues. Unfortunately the sound on the right speakers kept cracking up. Also the security yelled at each other during the quiet bits of the concert, very disrespectful and messed up the vibe :/
We showed up with no notice with our 92 yr young friend who uses a walker. The staff were more than gracious in accommodating her and provided us all with seating. They also made sure she was escorted out at the end to be sure she made it safe. Beautiful theater and amazing staff. Thank you for your extra effort. It goes a long way.
I really like this venue and location. I read some reviews that mentioned bad experiences with security and I can say that the security here was professional and respectful. They answered all of my questions and were polite in all my interactions. The only reason for 4 stars is that the sound system is primarily two line arrays which are positioned on the left and right hand sides of the stage. It means that if you want to stand front and centre of stage the audio is directed behind you and you sacrifice some sound quality. Other than that, the venue was great with friendly staff, professional security and tidy bathrooms.
My friends and I had an incredible time at the 2hollis concert at this venue, the management was so kind and we all ended up having an awesome night!
