Our department provides public safety services to the population of and visitors to the City of Holland.
Our public safety department is merged as police and fire services. Our officers / fire fighters are not cross trained so we maintain our separate disciplines. The administration of the department is cross trained and we have one Chief of Public Safety Services over both divisions. We have 57 police officers, 18 fire officers, 11 full time civilian support personnel and 14 part time positions.
