We stayed in the hotel for three nights, the location is convenient with sky train right outside, metrotown shopping center is right next to it. The kitchen staffs were outstanding. Food was fresh and dinning areas super clean. The only thing we are disappointed is that my daughter left her music folder in the room, thinking under the bed. We contacted the hotel by email, if they can email the pages to us Friday, got no response. We called front desk but she transfer my call to the lost and found to leave a voice message. I understand it’s holidays so are waiting to hear back. Will update.
It was a great experience. The staff at the front are very friendly and easy to deal with. Got my room quick. I just wish I was able to do an early check in. But all is good. Will definitely recommend this location. A very minor complain was the room. No windows but the quality and finish is great.Rooms: 3/5
I stayed at the hotel for four nights and absolutely loved it! It was conveniently located near everything in Metrotown, and the staff were incredibly friendly. As an IGH Platinum member, I felt really welcomed there. The rooms were spotless and felt cozy. The breakfast was delicious, although I did get a bit bored with the same food after a few days. The only downside was the late checkout; even though I requested late checkout, the system still locked me out of my room around 11am and even the staff weren't able to unblock it without the master key.
I really want to give only one star because it’s the most noisy hotel we’ve ever stayed at, but the staff was nice. We got a room with tons of air conditioner fans right outside of the window. I can nearly bear the light rail noise even though it raises my heartbeat every 3 minutes, but the air conditioner fan runs all time. We could not sleep at all. I can’t believe they assign such a terrible room to their elite member especially we asked for a quiet room. My husband usually is a deep sleeper regardless the environment, but none of us was able to sleep here. We end up moving to another room with only light rail noise around 12:40am midnightso it’s not like they don’t have an option for customers, but they chose to put us to the worst room. They really should leave that terrible room as storage or notify customers before they move in, instead of assigning to their diamond elite member when there are tons of other better rooms available!!! Really disappointed, and made a terrible trip.
Conveniently located, the only dislike I had about this hotel is noise if you are a light sleeper. The metro station is right across the road and there is a 50% chance you'll have a room facing the trains, which come and go frequently. Fortunately, hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and relocated me into another room facing away from the trains, but had constant static noise from a wall-mounted speaker public announcement system. It was very low volume, but when trying to fall asleep cannot be unheard. I was offered to be moved again, but this seems to be a general issue. As of this writing November 2022 only parts of the hotel have been renovated, so the second room I was in was less up to date, but still very nice. Comfortable bed and big TV. The hotel was generally very clean, free underground parking provided. Breakfast was above average, with more options than most places. They even have a pancake machine which makes them fresh to order. I wish there were stairs to get from one level to another, but they only serve as a fire escape. One has to take the elevator exclusively. Free Wi-Fi is open and unsecure. I recommend using a VPN.
My boyfriend and I are currently staying the night here, and we absolutely love it. We live a few Cities over, and definitely will have this as our Go-to place to get away. The staff here are outstanding, and the rooms are so clean. The rooms have everything you need and more. Thanks for having us!Rooms: 5/5
