Hands-down probably one of the five best restaurants in town. The staff is amazing and the food is out of this world good! Jesse, she’s amazing! She makes us feel like we’re at home every time were there. Her and her manager are one of the main reasons we go back again and again! The food is awesome but the customer service is the best!
Ramen broth on the garlic tonkotsu was rich, flavorful and very delicious. All the prices are extremely reasonable. Pork in the ramen was a little over cooked for such a thin slice but otherwise everything was great. Will definitely return for more bowls!

This Hokkaido is the best of their Montana locations hands down, and it’s in no small part because of the manager. Every time we come he is always interacting respectfully with staff and customers, and working very hard. We love this place and will continue to come- even more so after their stellar Covid safety rules. Thanks Hokkaido!
We were splurging and tried a lot of different menu items, each better than the last! That was my 1st time there, my husband's 2nd, and he said that the quality and service were consistent. Also, great value. Portion sizes were on the large side.
Oh boy! This place rocks. I had been looking forward to trying it out since I first learned of it. I was not disappointed. Ramen bowl was wonderful, with a couple of sushi rolls for that extra wow! I will stopping by whenever I visit Helena.
Another great meal at the Helena location. Friendly staff, superb service. So much better than the Bozeman location. Helena gets 10 stars if I could give them. Bozeman gets no stars.
Welcoming & helpful employees & great cheap vegan options. I regularly go there. I wish the avacado/veggie rolls were larger or had larger portions, so get 2x-4x the amount. Their strawberry lemonade is to DIE for. And the wood mushrooms in their ramen are SUPERB. It can get pretty busy and the quality is not fancy.
