Amazing service, fast and efficient. Was tired of going to 168 sushi all the time so it's nice to have a new player around the area. There is a robot they use to deliver food. Waitress was friendly and attentive to all our needs. Sushi is typical ayce. We got sushi dinner, hopefully they bring lunch ayce one day. Plenty of parking, not to busy when I went around lunch time. Will definitely be coming back =
I came to Hockey Sushi twice and had two fantastic experiences! The tempura and sashimi are extremely fast and the service is far more polite than the competition. We had a very attentive waitress, and the food comes quite quickly, either from a server or a robot!Food: 5/5
The food is so good, especially the Sashimi is so so so fresh. BBQ lamb and Fish egg salad are the dishes I must order every time. Coconut Dumplings are also recommend to try… I will come back.
Don't let the name fool you. Food is PHENOMENAL! Touchpad ordering and all-you-can-eat option. They have a cool little robot server as well. Make sure to reserve on weekend nights.Food: 5/5
The quality of the sushi is satisfying; we had better general tao chicken but this is still pretty good. It is a good place to have some sushi take out. 5 stars will go again.
Tried the sashimi and spicy maki roll set for take out. Food was prepared quickly and service is sad. Lady was rude and shoved our bag of food at us. Sashimi comes in thick slabs so it's a decent portion, freshness is standard. All the spicy maki rolls were gross. I honestly have never seen spicy maki rolls like the way so many AYCE spots make it here in Ottawa. Next to no fish mixed in with mushy and greasy tempura bits see pics. The spicy avocado maki was the best because they actually used more avocado than tempura. I might try this location for dine in since from my memory dine in at the Kanata location is decent by Ottawa standards.
The quality of the food was good. It’s cool that you receive your food through a robot. However the service was a bit slower than the average all you can eat sushi and our waitress kept hovering around our table to clear plates which is nice but also a bit overkill/uncomfortable; she was standing in front of our table near another table just waiting for us to finish a plate. Also when the waitress brought us our ice cream, she put her thumb in the bowl when passing it to us which was a bit unhygienic:/
Good taste, clean environment and friendly waitress. Shrimp tempura and surf clam sashimi are must try. Lamb skewer is also good. Satisfied.
The sushi is always super fresh. Fast and friendly service every time. Hockey Sushi Nepean is definitely one of the absolute best AYCE restaurants in Ottawa and I have been to most of them. The dining area is small but beats being in a large place with lots of noise, this Hockey Sushi is normally quite quiet since the sound doesn't bounce all over. Thank you for always giving me and my family a great experience!
10/10 customer service! We ordered takeout tonight like we usually do, and we had an error with one of our rolls. We called them to let them know, and after sending them a photo to show them, they offered to call the other restaurant to deliver the correct roll as soon as possible. They delivered it with an extra item even! Coming back as always :
