I had a public health concern that was not earth-shattering but had me very concerned especially since my doctors office was closed till Monday. I left my message and got an almost immediate return call. The person was very knowledgeable, helpful and sympathetic. Thanks HKPR Health for your care!
Called to confirm an appointment. Received a text confirming an appointment. Drove over an hour to HKPR for the doors to be locked, pouring rain outside and for the person at the front to stand there and NEVER open the doors, on top of it , the big old bag of dirty needles by the front door is absolutely gross! You played games with my health and my time. You’re disgusting. Negligence at its finest. DO NOT GO HERE.
I am currently in the midst of moving to Haliburton. I phoned to speak about covid-19 vaccination and the woman on the other line refused to provide any information and hung up the phone on me due to the fact that I was not yet a resident. The world has seen so much discriminations in last past few years. It is inappropriate to hang up on someone and to refuse to provide information, especially when your job is to serve the public.
I called asking for assistance with understanding the isolating regulations once you have been exposed to a positive COVID case. All the receptionist could do for me was put me through to the voicemail for COVID line. I requested that I be able to talk to a human because I feel this is rather urgent for me to know ASAP. She told me everyone was in meetings and the voicemail was all she could do. Apparently, the only thing that works there is the voicemail.
Positive feedback! Took my father for his vaccine on Friday at the Lindsay Fairgrounds It was a drive thru arrangement, well set up and stress free. Well done to all the paramedics and nurses and security! Thank you!
So far I have seen no evidence that there is a specific plan to deliver vaccines to the public! Arenas, maybe? What about Service Club Buildings, portable trailers etc. Lets get a plan!
