Joelle is PURE MAGIC! On the fence of hiring a wedding planner? Don’t think, just book Joelle! Seriously, our wedding day would not have been the same and Joelle LITERALLY saved the day. I’ve known Joelle from also being in the wedding industry and as soon as we started planning our wedding, I knew I had to have Joelle as our planner. Not only is her personality and energy so much fun and contagious, but her dedication also to making your day the absolute best is OFF THE CHARTS! We postponed our wedding from 2021 to 2022 and the transition was so easy with her. From the initial conversation, I knew we were in good hands. I had a long piece of peach my fav colour fabric that I’ve had for years and knew I wanted to use it somehow. I completely trusted Joelle with her creativity and she used it on our arch to create the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony. We were blown away. Then, she magically transformed our archway flowers to be on our head table and it was so INCREDIBLE! Joelle really went above & beyond. When our bartenders really fell short, Joelle stepped in and saved the day. She was ready to bartend and take over to compensate for their lack of professionalism. This is what Joelle does. She really cares and will help with whatever she can. Joelle & her team have an unwavering passion for their work and I wish we could have another wedding, just so we could hire her all over again. We did the wedding day management package and Katelyn was our planner! Katelyn was amazing and went above and beyond for us! Having her take over the month before made everything so much easier and allowed me to relax a bit before the wedding! She brought us extra decor table skirt, gold rimmed wine glasses and dusty blue napkins for our head table without us even asking! Katelyn made sure to keep us on time and dealt with everything! My husband and I were able to enjoy our special day stress free and we wouldn't change a thing! If you are on the fence about a wedding planner I 100% recommend Katelyn, she will make your wedding dreams come true!

Joelle is really excellent to work with. We got her day of package and setup/take down service; but we were still in contact with her the entire time. Joelle gives you access to this great wedding planning software, which is really helpful. She also gives you recommendations to other vendors and is always available for questions. She’s very fun to work with and you can also trust her to take care of your big day. It was really nice on the day to have someone to run our event so we could just have fun. Joelle has different packages that can work for everyone. She also make wedding planning fun and less stressful. Would highly recommend.

We had an incredible experience with Joelle and Paige. We had the full coordination package with Paige and it was worth every penny. We contacted them and asked them to plan a wedding in 3 months and they delivered a 2 day event that was beyond our expectation. Every detail was perfect and Paige made it so stress free so we could just enjoy not only the wedding but the whole planning process leading up to it. They have great ideas and seem to be able to find a solution to any problem. We are eternally grateful to Paige and Joelle for their hard work and endless enthusiasm.

Recently had Joy by Joelle provide day-of coordination service for our wedding and I wish I could give 6 stars. Katelyn was absolutely phenomenal, and greatly exceeded our expectations. We wanted to make sure that our family, friends, and us were able to be in the moment of the day, and Katelyn and team went above and beyond to make that happen. Incredibly well organized, thoughtful, and detail oriented, their efforts took a huge load off of us and allowed us to focus on the big things of the day.

My partner and I no longer live in Edmonton but still wanted to have our wedding there and we wanted to host it at an unusual venue unusual meaning still under construction. After some previous wedding planner misfortunes, we were hesitant and nervous to continue planning our event from out of the province. We were beyond stressed about making it all work and Joelle did an incredible job of rolling with the punches. Not only did she accommodate the craziness of the venue, she embraced it and took the vision and made it better than we could have ever imagined. Joelle’s approach is data and technology driven, which is something I really appreciated. I live for a good check list and her online portal made sharing ideas and information easy and kept the planning process on track. Could not recommend Joelle and her team more, their energy is infectious and they will do everything in their power to take the stress and burden out of planning a wedding so you can focus on the fun parts.

What can I say about Joelle and her team that hasn't already been said? We purchased the VIP Wedding Day Management package with Joelle which gave us 5 hours of Joelle time and day-of coordination for our wedding. This also gave us access to an online platform that kept track of budget, contacts, timeline, our inspo board, etc. This was an absolute godsend. In the 5 beautiful hours we got to spend with Joelle herself, she managed to help us coordinate groomsmen ties we had different dress colours and types for our bridesmaids, she re-configured our reception layout to feel more like us thank the heavens, helped us with our very tight, very packed timeline, encouraged us to use our house rather than a hotel room for our getting ready space, coordinated our hair and makeup timeline to simultaneously occur with the cultural aspects of the wedding morning, and cracked a few well-placed and much needed jokes throughout our meetings. Joelle IS Bride Valium. After having our meetings with Joelle, I instantly felt calmer and less "the sky is falling" and more "we got this!". Jo was tied up at a different wedding on the day of our wedding, so we got the ever lovely, ever beautiful Paige. Paige was with us a month out from our wedding and thank the bridal heavens. Paige was honest, gave great feedback when her opinion was asked, emailed all the vendors that were outstanding and was so crazy communicative. Sometimes I wondered if she ever slept! We first met Paige in person at rehearsal and without her, it would have gone a lot worse. She helped people queue up in the right order, helped to ease their anxiety, timed everything so she could tell the DJ the next day, and was there for all the last minute little details. On the day of our wedding, Paige took care of all the little stressors. She checked in with the venue constantly, made sure the favours were laid out properly on the tables, she went to bat for us when there were some items that went off the rails, but most importantly, Paige is a problem solver. After our wedding, I heard of all the little hiccups and places where things went sideways. Not once did it get back to me or my husband during the day or night. Paige made those small issues go away and I trusted her implicitly. She made sure to load our car with the gifts, cards, all personal decor we brought, and tidied the bridal suite at our venue at the end of the night. Paige and Joelle, we truly couldn't have had as much fun on our wedding day as we did without both of you guiding us along the way. Your humour, exemplary work ethic, and your calming natures went along way and we can't thank you enough. Much love to you and your team from the bottom of mine and Chris' hearts!

Hire Joelle and her team - you need them. We chose the VIP package and wow was it worth it! Joelle was a wealth of knowledge and ideas, their planning site was the absolute best, their communication with venders saved us so much time and money and Paige went above and beyond to pull the entire event off without a glitch. If you are feeling overwhelmed, lost or at your wits' end at the prospect of planning your wedding, then Joelle is the answer to your prayers. We were stuck in limbo with our wedding planning, tossing ideas around but not really committing to anything. We had an idea of what we wanted, but no concept of how to make that idea into a reality. Any planning efforts we made left us feeling overwhelmed at amount of work and organization required to put together our wedding. We just didn't feel like we had the time and energy we needed to plan on our own on top of working and living our busy lives... Enter Joelle! We were totally blown away after our very first consultation meeting by how organized and professional she was, not to mention how bubbly and upbeat. She's been planning weddings for over 4 years, and has a thorough understanding of the wedding industry, and great connections and knowledge of local vendors and venues. It was a no-brainer to work with her and have her co-ordinate our wedding. We were lucky enough to have Joelle fully co-ordinate our wedding. Once we started working with her, it was like an immense weight was lifted from our shoulders. She had organized spreadsheets and timelines for every aspect of our wedding, and would regularly keep in touch with us via email about what was going on and what we needed to do. We were planning a destination wedding in the Rockies, but we liked working with a planner based in Edmonton where we lived. We were able to meet regularly in person, which really put our minds at ease because we knew we were on the same page and that Joelle had everything under control! In the last couple of weeks leading up to the wedding, Joelle had to remind us to breathe, sit back, relax, and trust that she was handling everything. Boy was she right! We were actually able to relax and spend time together during the last couple days before our wedding. When we arrived at our wedding destination, we got to enjoy greeting family and friends as they arrived, and had a lovely relaxing rehearsal dinner with close family. Both of us slept well the night before the wedding because we knew Joelle had everything covered and we didn't have anything to worry about except being present, living in the moment and enjoying marrying each other and the experience of our wedding day. Seeing Joelle on the day of our wedding was a sight to behold. She was totally in her element, and we could tell she thrives off of making sure everything stays on track and goes according to plan. She was super attentive to everything we needed during our day. Need a water break, bathroom break, your dress bustled, a makeup touch-up, or a mimosa? Joelle was always there to lend a helping hand and make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the experience of getting married. Even little things like making sure nobody paddled off in our rental canoe, or shooing away wayward tourists who wandered into our wedding venue were handled with grace and professionalism. She wrangled our friends and family for all the family photos that we wanted, so that we had more time for couples' photos with our photographer. Our family and friends got along with her and thought she was great! Since our wedding, our families have told us they understand why we decided to get a wedding planner, and how wonderful and helpful Joelle was on our wedding day. As far as wedding planning goes, we would say that the whole process was about as painless as it could possibly be, and Joelle is the one responsible for that! One of the things we appreciated most was that Joelle really took the time to get to know us as a couple, and got an understanding of what our vision was for our wedding. She helped us define, create and realize the wedding of our dreams, and we are so thankful! If you're hung up on your wedding planning or stuck in a wedding planning rut, Joelle can help you! We are so thankful that we were able to work with her, and can't recommend her enough!
